Constant
Little
Bickering
And
Complaints
That is what Lucas has been going through for the past few weeks. It was so amazing to welcome home Sarah and William, but even though such a amazing thing happened, that didn't stop Max from forgetting about one thing.
Begging Lucas to teach her how to drive.
In fact she started begging him the minute they were alone in their room after getting home from the hospital with Eleven and Mike, letting Lucas know she hasn't forgotten. Since then he has been trying to dodge her, pretend he hasn't heard her or just shut her up with the many of ways he very well could but due to being busy and taking more hours of work to catch up that specific form of action has been prohibited due to the busy circumstances.
But Max never gives up.
He knows that for a fact, because after weeks of her asking he finally gave in. So both of them sit inside of a rental car in a abandoned large parking lot, because it was no way in hell that Lucas was going to let her drive his new car. He loves the thing, it has black interior with leather seats. She already crashed one of them he was not going to let that happen to another. Plus if she crashes this one she can pay for the repairs of it to the rental company.
She is the millionaire after all.
"You got this Max!" Nancy cheers, her Steve Dustin Suzie Erica Holly as well as Amberlee and Amir being out in the parking lot cheering them on, Mike and Eleven of course being at home caring for Sarah and William, Robin and Vicki having to work in the movie theatre today.
"Okay." Max says with a smile, her shifting around a little bit in her seat, putting both hands on the wheel. "Okay go on and teach me, what do I do?"
"Well first you want to push your seat more up love." Lucas tells her, Max looking at him with a smile. "You're a little shortie with sneakers on."
"Whatever." Max rolls her eyes, her being in a simple romper with sneakers. She goes to look around her seat a little. "Uhhh...how do I do that?"
Lucas leans more closer to her while looking under the seat, his head being considerably close to her thighs making her blush lightly, one of his hands being on the side of the seat on the shoulder while the other one finds the lever on the bottom of the seat.
"Oh." Max says when the seat suddenly goes forward, her looking at Lucas when he brings his head back up, their faces being inches away from each other's.
"What?" Lucas questions, a smirk lightly forming on his face. "Hmm?"
Max looks in between his eyes, her mouth parting a little bit, his eyes flicking down to her lips before more of a smirk grows on his face.
Both Max and Lucas jump when a loud slam is heard on the front of the car, them looking ahead of them to see Erica with her hands on the hood of the car.
"We came to see Max drive and potentially fail not you both making goggly eyes at each other!" Erica scolds. "If I wanted to see that I would've hung out with both of you in StarCourt, noticed how that never happened!"
Lucas and Max just flip her the bird slowly at the same time, her flipping them back the bird as she walks back. "Okay is your seatbelt on?"
"Yep." Max says with a nod, her putting both of her hands on the wheel.
"Okay gas pedal is to the right and brake is to the left, so just hover your feet over it." Lucas says. "Don't get to gas happy."
"You know if we are technically speaking last time you didn't teach me right." Max looks over at him.
