"Framing?!" Mike questions like he just saw a ghost. All Mike, Dustin and Suzie sit with Steve while he explains the plan. More like Steve trying to explain the plan and them cutting him off every minute.
"Would you guys just let me explain it?!" Steve exclaims, going to cross his legs while shaking his head.
"What more is there to explain?" Dustin questions.
"Are we really framing someone?" Mike asks.
"Someone who deserves to be framed. Think about it, he was the cause of Eleven's trauma's." Steve mentions.
Mike nods his head, all of them sitting in silence as they think about the plan. Yes it may be a little harsh, but they all do not want Lucas to go to jail.
"When do you think they'll be back?" Suzie questions after a little bit of silence.
"Nants called saying they need to stay there until early tomorrow. Something about alibi." Steve responds.
"Alibi's, smart move." Suzie says to herself, nodding her head while doing so.
"So until then we just wait?" Mike questions.
Steve nods his head. "Now we just wait on the starting team to make the move."
Both Dustin and Mike roll their eyes in reply, not even wanting to respond to that.
When the phone begins to ring everyone's head shoots towards it, they all share a quick glance before they run towards the phone, Mike being quicker then everyone else and putting it to his ear. "Max? Lucas? Which one of you is it?" Mike quickly says.
"Lucas." He answers, leaning on the wall while a hand goes in his pocket. "What you all are waiting on a call from Max?"
Mike looks over at Steve and Dustin, seeing them shaking their heads while waving their hands, basically telling Mike not to say much. "No I don't know really, she's just suppose to keep us updated with things. But you know how impatient we can get sometimes." Mike shrugs. "How have you been doing?"
Lucas sighs a little. "I assume you all know everything now?"
"Yeah we do."
Lucas leans on the wall more. "I don't know, I mean it's good to know I'm not....you know but there is still a feeling inside of me I can't shake off."
"We all have that feeling Lucas, and it's only going to go away when this is all over." Mike says.
"And it will be soon." Steve adds in.
Dustin takes the phone from Mike, putting it to his ear. "Hey buddy."
Lucas smiles a little. "Hey Dustin."
"We're still a party you know that right? It doesn't matter what is done, it doesn't matter what we go through, how far we are. We are still a party, we are still brothers, no matter what."
Lucas nods his head while rubbing his face, trying to prevent the tears from escaping because he knows if he cries one more time his head will explode. His head hurts badly, his eyes hurt from all the crying he has done. He is thankful that he has friends, family that still love him despite this, that knows nothing will ever change because of this. That was the number one thing that Lucas was afraid of. It wasn't going to jail, it was wondering what his family would think of him if all was revealed. He did not want to loose everyone, he didn't want them to look at him like he was some crazy killer that they cannot be around anymore. He didn't want them to fear him most of all, Lucas doesn't want to be feared, he doesn't want to be worshipped, he just wants to be around the people he cares about the most, and he wants the people who cares about him the most to not be afraid of him, be comfortable to talk to him, laugh with him, cry with him, and everything in between.
