After some satisfying weeks of Lucas and Max practically keeping in their room it was finally time to get back into work. Max's plan worked, Lucas admitted he needed more time to rest and they took off four weeks rather than just one, but now they are both beginning to work to contribute to the bills and also savings as well.
They plan on saving for a car, all of them just deficient to just get one car that everyone can use before they all get their own. Lucas was able to get his license along with Dustin, Mike still working on getting his license.
So Max and Eleven are currently are currently at the store. Since Joyce's new promotion is now really paperwork and agreements she mostly works from home, occasionally coming up to the store to help out or to look after things, other than that Eleven happily takes the position of Joyce's old position, looking after the store and managing it.
It is a slow day so Max and Eleven read through some new magazines that just came in stock today from the truck, both of them sitting on the checkout counter.
"What's a emo?" Eleven questions after some time of content silence of them reading magazines, her looking at the magazine while asking the question.
"Emo phase, it can mean a lot of different things. Most people just chalk it up to people who wear back clothes, fringed hairstyles, dark eyeliner and dark polished nails. And listening to sad music, but sometimes it can just be their personality as well." Max explains.
"How would their personality be like?" Eleven questions.
"Overly sensitive, emotional, bitchy even." Max replies.
Eleven nods her head, going to take a pin from the jar and open it.
"Why do you ask?" Max asks.
"I am taking a personality test." Eleven answers.
"And you got emo?!"
"No I got kindhearted." Eleven says while letting her finger scan over the words while she reads them. "You are the kindest person there is, everyone can always go to you because you are very approachable and your friends and family put all of their trust in you because they know you are responsible and loyal. You give good advice and make the people around you smile along with you." She reads off the description.
"Well that is very much accurate." Max says while looking at the magazine and going to put hers down. "I'm curious on what my personality is."
"Hey guys!" Mike waves, him Suzie and Dustin making their way into the store.
"Hey guys!" Max greets.
"Whatcha doin?" Mike questions, going to lean his elbows on the checkout counter while giving a cheeky smile at Eleven, leaning the bottom of his face on his hands.
"Doing a personality test." Eleven replies while poking Mike's nose, going to give him a kiss.
"I never understood those things. Why do you need a test to tell you something you already know?" Dustin questions, going to look at the various magazines on the rack.
"It's like...a second answer, a confirmation." Max replies, taking a pen and beginning to take the test.
"Plus it's just harmless fun, most of the time it is inaccurate." Suzie says, going to get a bag of chips and open them up.
"El's was pretty accurate, she got kindhearted." Max says while nudging Eleven's shoulder.
"Then it's definitely accurate." Mike replies, Eleven having a light blush on her cheeks.
"Okay is it just me or you have been really really flirty towards El?" Max questions while turning her body to the side to look at Mike.
"I've noticed it too, Mike has been pulling the moves." Dustin says while adding in a wink.
