After a long day of sleeping and a lot of doses of aspirins and drinking countless bottles of water everyone now is at work the next day. It was a pain waking up the boys, Lucas didn't want to get up for anything, Max had to practically drag him out of bed for work. Mike just kept complaining while him and El were getting ready and Dustin was getting irritated over any little thing he couldn't find or when things were not going his way.
Now Lucas stocks up different snacks and magazines as well on the aisles and on the magazine rack, Max counting the cash in the register while Eleven holds a clipboard, walking around the store while checking off things on the supply list. Suzie is still at home working in her telemarketing job selling computers, Mike still on the farm mowing lawns and Dustin at the radio shack.
"Oh my goodness they have the RockOut magazines here now!" Max exclaims happily, going to snatch the magazine from Lucas hand.
"Ow." Lucas holds his head, still having a little bit of a headache. He puts his cap more down on his head, holding the box in one of his arms and taking out the magazines out of them and putting them on the rack. "Please not so loud."
"It's a exciting moment." Max says while turning through the pages. "See! They even got the different perfume and cologne scents you can smell after flipping this paper open." Max says while showing Lucas, flipping the piece of paper open and putting it to her nose while smiling. "Minty but a hint of sweetness, I like it."
"Yes that's awesome Max." Lucas says sarcastically, still going to put magazines on the rack.
"Murray's right you are a prune when in hangover status." Max comments with a eye roll, rounding the counter and setting down the magazine, beginning to count the cash again.
"Well it's kind of hard to be all chirpy with a headache."
"Well that headache wouldn't have happened if you didn't get wasted." Max comments back, raising a row with a light smile. "But hey it was fun for you guys, it's just a headache."
"Yes just a headache." Lucas comments back.
Max only rolls her eyes, giving a smile to Eleven who makes her way back to the counter, setting the clipboard down. "Everything accounted for?"
"Yes, all that is left is the magazines." Eleven replies, leaning her hands on the counter while looking at the clipboard.
"Oh okay, just check back in a hour or so I'm sure Lucas will be done by then." Max comments while leaning her forearms on the table, lightly bending over it while she looks at Lucas, sending him a flashy sarcastic smile.
Lucas only just looks at her with a raised brow and half smile. "So you got jokes huh?"
"I'm just stating what I see, and guesstimating the time." Max replies.
Lucas only just rolls his eyes, going back to putting the magazines on the rack.
"Oh and I saw you stacked the cans wrong on Aisle B." Eleven mentions.
"I did ABAB pattern."
"It's suppose to be AABB." Max and Eleven both say at the same time.
Lucas just sighs out loudly, going to put the box of magazines on the counter. "Fine, I'll go to that." He says before walking off to the aisle.
Eleven looks back at him before turning to Max, her eyebrows furrowed a little. "Is he okay?"
Max only just waves it off. "He's just sulking, getting on my nerves." Eleven smiles, going to the box of magazines and beginning to put some of them up. "What are you doing?"
"I figured I would help him." Eleven mentions.
"Nah he's fine, he can do it. He is the supplier after all." Max says while hopping up on the desk.
