"We have read how Max Sinclair wrote the amazing article about the need for more donations for children in need. Because of that article we see more donations occurring, going to Foster Care systems, Orphanages and many other places for children in need. One little Donation, one little thing can change it all for a child as Max Sinclair says, we truly love this piece and look forward to her next one."
Max turns down the TV in her office, going to set the remote on her desk while she leans her bottom on it. Her arms are crossed, her lightly looking down a little. It was suppose to be a day of celebration, last night she was suppose to go crazy and celebrate her birthday with family then today celebrate the release of her article with her coworkers.
She does not feel in a celebrating mood right now, she doesn't even know what mood she feels right now. It gets closer to three o clock and she knows soon Lucas will be on his way to her. She looks at her watch, seeing it read two thirty. She takes a deep breath, rubbing her chin a little.
She hears a knock on her door, making her look up. "Nants?"
"It's me Max." Nancy replies.
"Come in."
Nancy makes her way in, sending Max a smile before closing the door. "Watching the news?" She questions, going to stand besides Max while looking at the TV.
Max nods her head, going to look up at the TV. "Yeah I did."
"You don't seem ecstatic for someone's article being shared all around the country right now." Nancy smiles softly at Max.
Max smiles while looking at Nancy. "I'm happy believe me." She says before looking back up at the TV.
"How are you feeling about today? About the lunch?" Nancy questions.
"That's the thing I have no idea." Max responds while throwing her hands up. "I mean why am I not happy that I just turned twenty one, I just released a article that is being spread all around the states of the US and reuniting with my dad?!" She questions to herself.
"Because you have questions Max." Nancy responds, turning her body to her. "Questions that need answered, questions that is causing that feeling inside of your stomach, questions that are hindering you from that happiness."
"Which is why when you get there you need to ask him everything and tell him everything you have been feeling that way he understands. He needs to know that what he did hurt you and it will not go by unnoticed." Nancy adds in.
Max nods her head, going to turn to Nancy. "You're right, and I will. Lucas told me to do the same thing."
Nancy nods. "And you know you can talk to me."
Max nods, going to smile at Nancy. "Thank you Nants." She says before she goes to hug Nancy.
"Of course, I'm always here." Nancy replies, going to hug her back.
Max looks at her watch, seeing that it reads two fifty five. "Alright I have to go, I'll see you when I get back."
"Okay, just come in my office when you get back." Nancy states.
"Will do." Max replies, making her way out of her office and make her way to the door. She already sees Lucas outside, him leaning on the car while lightly playing with his keys. Max makes her way outside, smiling at Lucas and giving him a soft kiss. He opens the door for her, closing it when she gets in and getting into the drivers side.
Lucas glances over at Max while he drives to the restaurant. "How are you feeling?"
"Nervous, puzzled." Max replies.
