Amberlee slowly opens her eyes, a smile filling her face as she does. It is Saturday, no school and she gets to watch movies and eat good food with Max and Lucas. She goes to get up, going to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face accordingly to what Max taught her.

She can smell the smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen, hearing soft music as well. She goes to turn off her radio before grabbing her purple bear and leaving out of her room, a big smile being on her face as she runs over to the kitchen.

Lucas hums a little as he makes eggs, the bacon fizzling a little and him flipping over pancakes. He looks behind him when he feels Amberlee hug his legs, him smiling and looking down at her. "Hey Angel."

"Hi daddy." Amberlee smiles.

Lucas goes to pick her up, him going to move the eggs around a little in the pan, her leaning the side of her head against his while they both look at the eggs. "So today is going to be a very fun day. Want to know why?"

"Yeah." She nods.

"Because we are going to watch some movies, eat some good food and we are going to plan a little surprise for mommy." Lucas says.

"We are?" Amberlee smiles.

"Absolutely, and I'm going to need your help." Lucas says. "We'll talk more about it when I'm done with work okay?"

"Okay."

"Also Angel." Lucas says while going to sit her down on the counter, him standing in front of her. "While we eat breakfast me and mommy are going to talk to you okay? And you have to listen." He says softly. "Now we aren't going to scold you, not at all, we just have to make some agreements and promises with each other, but we promise you we are not mad at you or anything okay?"

"Okay." Amberlee nods.

"Who's daddy's little girl?" He puts his forehead against hers.

"I am." She smiles, putting her forehead more against his while smiling.

"Yes you are, and you will always be understand?" Lucas says.

"Okay daddy." Amberlee smiles.

Lucas smiles at her, him leaning his hands on either side of her. "Well I was going to wait til later to give you this but you have been doing really well in school so...."

Amberlee's face brightens up more while kicking her legs lightly in excitement, Lucas going to reach in the pocket of his joggers.

"Close your eyes."

Amberlee closes her eyes while she smiles, awaiting the surprise while lightly kicking her legs.

"Open."

Amberlee opens her eyes, her gasping softly at the shiny purple necklace, that reads 'My Angel' in cursive writing, her smiling brightly and lightly squealing in excitement. "For me?"

"For you." Lucas confirms, he goes to put the necklace around her neck, Amberlee looking down at it with a smile. "I'm proud of you Angel, you did so well in school this week, me and mommy both are proud of you."

"Thank you daddy." Amberlee smiles.

"Thank you Angel." Lucas tells her. "Okay food is almost ready, can you go and wake up mommy?" He questions while picking her up and putting her down.

"Yeah." She nods.

Lucas smiling as he sees her run excitedly towards the hallway and rounds the corner.

"Mommy!" Amberlee cheers, her going to make her way inside of the room, seeing Max sleep on the pallet, the fire being well out. Amberlee goes to set her bear down on the pallet, getting on her knees and sitting on the heels of her feet besides Max. "Mommy, mommy wake up daddy's making breakfast." Amberlee says while shaking her.
