Amberlee stretches out as she goes to turn off her alarm, thanking the lord she didn't have to get up to early at all since Lucas always makes breakfast on the weekdays before he goes into work. Amberlee goes to get up, her going to get in the shower before she goes to put on one of her long purple sweaters that comes to her mid thigh and the sleeves engulfing her arms, her brushing her teeth and washing her face with her skincare products before she moisturizes her hair and brushes it out before going to put her hair in a high ponytail.
After she puts on her socks she makes her way out of her room, her slowly going to open the door to Max and Lucas room, seeing Max being on the bed while she breastfeeds Amberlee with a towel around her. "Morning mom."
"Morning sweetie." Max smiles softly.
"You look exhausted." Amberlee says.
"Yeah me and Lucas barely got sleep Annalise kept waking up crying, she just wanted someone to hold her while she slept I guess." Max says, her going to wipe her face a little bit while yawning.
"Well why didn't you wake me she could've just slept with me." Amberlee says.
"Yeah but I still had to feed her too so."
"Oh right." Amberlee says. "Well today mom is all rest for you. So don't worry I will handle Anna and every...."
"Two hours." Max tells her.
"Every couple of hours I will bring her here for you to feed her, but you need rest." Amberlee says.
"Yeah I do I'm not going to lie." Max says in response. "I'm just going to get done feeding her."
"Okay. Are you hungry I can make you a plate?" Amberlee points behind her.
"No but come here, you smell good." Max motions.
"Oh thank you." Amberlee smiles while going over to Max. "It is the new perfume Auntie Cassandra always brings back from Hawaii for me, it is called Hawaiian Swiss Ross."
Max smells her arm before nodding. "Very vibrant and fresh, that's really unique I like it."
"Me too, she always sends me a crap ton, it is now my scent and no one shall steal it!" Amberlee says with a smile. "By the way whenever you need something besides going to the bathroom or a bath you must call me, and literally I mean call me." Amberlee motions towards her phone. "It might be where Anna is sleep and you can't call for me so you just have to call me and I will be right here awaiting to assist you."
Max smiles while looking at Amberlee. "You know I can walk right?"
"Well you can't for this next four weeks mom." Amberlee says in a begging manner. "Please just let me do it all. All you need to do is catch up on some sleep and rest and recover your...area." Amberlee says awkwardly. "I'm serious I saw some really brutal stuff in that room, I can only imagine how it must have felt."
"Yeah it isn't exactly pleasant." Max comments. "But thank you sweetie."
"You're welcome."
"Just be sure to not leave her unattended and to bring her to me every two hours I will set alarms." Max says. "And to be sure she doesn't sleep past three hours at a time."
"Don't worry I got this." Amberlee says.
"Okay." Max says, her getting done feeding Annalise and going to burp her. "Here there's Amberlee, Amberlee."
