"And another score for the scout Jaguars!" The man says over the loud speakers, the opposers team audience going into a flight of cheers while some in the Hawkins crowd flip them off.
"Dammit!" Robert says, looking up at the score board to see them now tied together. "They're catching up now."
"Look at his footwork." Lucas says while pointing at the guy who just made the shot. "Damn he's good, he's fast but his footwork is off, you see that?"
Robert looks more closely at his movements, finally seeing the pattern. "You're right." Robert says. "So what are you thinking?"
"A play that confuses him, at least a three past play. With his footwork he wouldn't be able to keep up with something like that." Lucas suggests.
"And it would have to be fast." Robert nods, going to blow his whistle. "Time out!" He yells.
"Oh I really hope we do not loose this game." Steve mentions, going to kick his feet a little.
Max looks over at him. "Hey that's not the 'game spirit'."
"I know but if we loose it is going to be really awkward walking out of here." Steve says, still kicking his foot slightly.
"Why are you kicking your foot?" Eleven questions for all of them.
"Well...this spray paint is leaking down my ass. And I'm pretty sure somewhere else..." Steve trails off.
"Eww!"
"Gross!"
"Well you asked!" Steve exclaims.
"Well you really didn't have to answer." Max replies.
"Guys I'm freaking out and I don't even know why! I hate sports!" Mike says, rocking his knee a little while eating chips, looking at the score at the top.
"It's called anticipation Wheeler, we are all feeling it." Steve says.
"Plus it's fun, of course I would not play basketball but I enjoy watching it." Joyce says, her and Hopper sitting together.
"Ugh the anticipation is KILLING me!" Dustin yells, causing some stares to come their way.
"It's alright it is still five minutes on the clock, plenty of time to make a comeback." Hopper says.
"Or plenty of time to loose and do the walk of shame back home." Mike says, all of them going to look at him. "Just saying, there is a 50/50 chance here so...."
"Well unlike you Debby downers I have team Hawkins spirit." Max says. "Go Hawkins!" Max exclaims loudly.
"Go Hawkins!" The crowd cheers along with her.
"MARRY ME MAX MAYFIELD!" Someone from the crowd loudly says, causing silence in the crowd before cheers start back up.
"Yep love the spirit don't you?" Steve questions, Max only just rolling her eyes in reply.
"Did someone just tell Max to marry her?" Lucas questions while looking around the crowd.
"Focus Sinclair!" Robert says, Lucas quickly going to look back at the boys huddling around them. "We need to do a three play pass." Robert mentions.
"How are we going to do that? That guy is fast!" One of the boys questions.
"You do as many passes necessary to get out of his radar. We need someone close to the net at all times for dunk shots. Just in case the shot doesn't make it in." Lucas mentions. "Jacob you stay close to the net."
"I think something is honestly going on with my foot. When I tried to get pass him I think I twisted it the wrong way." Jacob admits.
"Is it hurting?" Robert questions.
