Lucas slaps his hand against the alarm while his eyes are still closed, him laying on his front while a arm is hanging off the bed. Max lays on top of him with her arms wrapped around his waist, her head rested on his back. Lucas looks at the clock, seeing it read seven fifteen. "Max." He says in a groggy tired voice, not hearing her respond. "Max." Max lets out a soft whine while snuggling closer to him. "I have to get up."

"No ten more minutes." Max whines while her eyes are still closed.

"Alright." Lucas responds, him going back to sleep.

When he wakes back up he sees that he slept for fifteen minutes instead of ten, knowing he needs to go on and get up before he is late for his first period. Lucas begins to move his legs, going to try and bring them on the floor.

"Nooo." Max whines.

"Max I got to go to work." Lucas says while letting his feet find the carpet, feeling Max's legs wrap around his waist.

"Just five more minutes, you're so warm." Max says while hugging him tighter, her head still rested on his back.

"Max.."

"Please!"

"Max..."

"Pretty please?"

Lucas sighs, him going to get back in the bed. "Just five more minutes okay?"

"Mhm." Max responds while snuggling more into him.

Well that doesn't happen, Lucas slowly opens his eyes to see that he slept in way late and it is already eight. "Shit!" Lucas curses before he begins to get up.

"Nooo! Five more minutes!" Max whines while she wraps herself around him again.

"Max I have to get to work." Lucas says while getting up, Max still being on his back. "You work today don't you?"

"Yeah but I don't have to go in until ten." Max responds.

"Well I am suppose to be there by eight twenty five and it's already eight. Plus I have the meeting with the new board at nine." Lucas says.

"But I don't want you to go." Max pouts.

Lucas chuckles lightly. "Max go on and go back to bed."

"No I won't be able to go to sleep without you." She pouts again.

"Alright then come on I'll run you a bath." Lucas says. He lets Max stay on his back while he goes to run the bath water and put the powder and soap in the tub before going to put Max in the tub. Max flips her bottom lip while looking at Lucas with her puppy dog eyes. Lucas sighs while looking at her. "Don't give me that look."

"But I miss you."

"I'll be back after getting some work done after practice and we can do whatever you want okay." Lucas states.

Max gives a sigh of defeat while moving her arms around in the tub. "Alright fine."

Lucas smiles while he goes to give her a quick peck, him making his way in the shower. He goes to take a quick ten minute shower before hopping out and drying off, wrapping a towel around his waist while he goes to quickly brush his teeth and wash his face, after that going to put his clothes on, him settling for his black Hawkins joggers and a black collared shirt and his white sneakers. "Love you!" He says while making his way out of the bathroom.
