The shower water turns on, Max holding her head up as she lets the hot water pour on her. She is one of the first that got up along with Nancy and Eleven, all of them always being one of the first to get up every morning.
Max though wakes up earlier then they do most of the time along with Eleven, always wanting to check up on Eleven when she gets up, most occasions being of her throwing up because of her pregnancy, but Max also knows that some of it comes from her stress that she doesn't want to give out so quick to prevent the others from worrying to much.
There are times Nancy her and Suzie would catch her in the bathtub full of water floating, her using that as a mechanism of relaxation, them glad that she is using something to help her relax. But Max can see it, how sometimes she looks aimlessly ahead of her, deep in thought, how she lightly taps her fingers against the table while they are eating.
She is stressing more than she lets on.
And it is not like Max can tell her not to, because Max has been through her fair share of situations were she stressed heavily on because she was right in the middle of it, and it wouldn't be fair to ask Eleven to not stress, because for one it is impossible when it comes to this situation for another thing Eleven is right in the middle of this situation and this isn't a typical situation, it is a very stressful one.
But despite that Max knows she is doing well, that she is still taking steps of relaxation both for her and for the baby, Max just makes sure she is there for her, even if they just sit in silence or if Eleven talks to her, it doesn't matter, she always makes sure she is there.
Max begins to bathe herself, knowing she can't take to long. Today makes the day of the court trial, and everyone is stressing out, everyone is beyond nervous on what this day is about to bring, because even though Telpher tells him they are in good hands they still fear.
They fear the unknown.
After a few more minutes Max makes her way out of the shower, her going to lotion herself up before putting on her night clothes, Telpher telling them he would be bringing them in clothes for today. Max combs her damp hair, going to brush her teeth and wash her face. Eleven and Nancy and Suzie do the same, all of them getting done getting ready and going into the room after they are done.
When everyone else gets up when the alarm sounds they go to get their showers and get ready. Max sits with Amberlee on her lap, Max brushing her hair softly before she goes to put her hair in a neat braid. "You feel up to braiding my hair?" Max questions.
"Okay." Amberlee responds, going to get behind Max on the bed to begin braiding up her hair, her getting done after a moment and going to sit back down on Max's lap.
"Ambie you still will be able to see us in the room but you will be with grandma and grandpa okay?" Max questions. "Auntie Holly will be with you too okay? And grandma Karen and Claudia. Okay?"
"Okay." Amberlee nods her head.
After everyone else makes it inside of the room they all go to stand around, waiting until Telpher comes to escort them on where they need to go. Lucas goes to pick up Amberlee, him giving her a soft kiss on her cheek while she goes to hug him.
"Good morning people!" Telpher smiles, him rounding the corner and leaning on the doorframe while officers make their way inside of the room, putting down orange jumpsuits on their beds before leaving out.
"What are these?" Dustin questions.
"Prison jumpsuits." Telpher responds. "For a whole month the world thinks that you all have been in prison while waiting for the trial. So now we have to make it seem as though you all are criminals and prisoners, so you all must put on the suits. With the exception of the ones that we didn't ran sack a month ago."
