Lucas parks in front of the post, him wiping his eyes a little from exhaustion. For the past few hours even after practice Lucas was working strategizing play after play in the thick file Joshua gave to him. He knew that every single play wouldn't be played for the championship game and Joshua was expecting for him to fail and not do it, that is why Lucas chose to do it to see his stupid face after he gave it to Joshua.

Lucas makes his way out of the car, putting the keys in his pocket after he gets done locking the door. Lucas makes his way into the building, him making a B-line to Max's office. He knocks on the door a couple times, him not receiving an answer. "Max?"

"Hey Lucas." One of the photographers greets. "Looking for Max?"

"Yeah." Lucas answers.

"She's in Nancy's office." He responds.

"Thank you."

"Of course."

Lucas makes his way to Nancy's office, him going to knock on the door.

"What?" He hears Nancy says irritability.

"It's Lucas."

"Come in Lucas." Max answers.

Lucas makes his way inside, closing the door behind him. Max goes over to him, going to give him a hug in which Lucas happily returns, Nancy leaning on her desk while she holds the phone to her ear.

"Yes...yeah...well duh...alright...yeah love you too...bye." Nancy says before she hangs up the phone, her taking a deep breath while closing her eyes.

"Everything okay?" Lucas questions towards them both.

"Yeah just something with a article." Max responds.

Lucas nods his head. "Well I had the meeting..." he trails off.

"And?" Max questions.

"I could...leave you guys alone if you both want." Nancy mentions.

"No it's fine I'm going to be telling everyone anyways." Lucas responds.

"Okay. So what happened?" Nancy questions while she crosses her arms.

"I'm still assistant coach and Joshua is head coach." Lucas answers.

"What?!" Both Nancy and Max say at the same time.

"There's nothing we can do about it now, I can't lie and say I was going in there expecting more positive results but it is what it is. Like you both said I have to adapt, I will adapt to this." Lucas explains.

"And the boys?" Nancy questions.

"How are they taking it?" Max adds in.

Lucas sighs while shaking his head. "Not well." He responds, his hands on his hips. "Practice was...rough. No one wanted to listen with reason, Joshua just kept running his mouth and I had to stop Henry from hitting the guy." Lucas says stressfully, rubbing his forehead a little.

Nancy raises her eyebrows slightly in a wow manner while turning away, her still leaning on the desk. Max sighs while shaking her head. "What did the board say? Like detail." Max questions.

"Basically all in all they were saying that to be head coach you need five years minimum of coaching experience which I did not have and Joshua did. I tried explaining that this team thrives on family and that is why it was so successful with me and Robert, not because of experience, in the end that didn't matter as much as I thought it would to them." Lucas responds. "I guess I can't be that pissed, I am still with the team I am still assistant coach, normally it was going to be where Joshua was able to pick the assistant coach."
