After the Fall

Max can hear the TV running in the room, it probably bring some horrible sick com because she can hear staged audience laughter after almost every sentence. Max slowly opens her eyes to look at the clock, seeing that it is over three o clock in the afternoon.

It has been a amazing five days of their honeymoon, and Lucas was true to his word when he said Max wouldn't be leaving the room for a few days. Max hasn't left this bed unless it was her taking a bath or using the bathroom, and Lucas has only left out of the room to get them food to eat. She had to use some time to rest because her legs wouldn't stop shaking or growing numb after the long nights they had, it was even one occasion where she tried to get up to get water and she almost fell if it wasn't for her fast reflexes catching the nightstand. Max isn't a fan of baths but she has no choice to take those instead of showers since she can barely stand.

The sex was outright amazing, it being rough, it being gentle, soft, hard, and even lazy sex. Max and Lucas loved it all. And let's just say after all they did for the past days Max needs some time to get some rest because he's even though Max is young she doesn't have as much stamina as Lucas does, seeing as how he is very athletic and won two championships in the basketball team. Plus she knows if she plans on going out to see the beautiful natures of the river walk she needs to get some rest and energy.

Today was really a sleeping day to get rest after the fun but exhausting for days of them constantly getting busy. Max and Lucas woke up earlier today for them to eat breakfast then they went back to sleep. Now Max slowly begins to wake up, her head still rested on Lucas chest while her hand is on his stomach. He sits up, his back against the headboard and pillows while he watches TV, deciding to move the TV in front of them that way it is easier to see.

Max smiles when she hears Lucas chuckle, his arm wrapped around her while he draws slow circles patterns on Max's arm. She begins to lightly play with his silver necklace, swirling it around her finger while still resting her head on his chest.

"Good morning sleepyhead." Lucas greets, him kissing Max's forehead softly.

Max smiles, going to give him a soft peck on his lips. "Good morning."

"Are you hungry? I can go get you some food." Lucas questions.

"No not right now." Max says, wrapping her arm around his waist while looking at the TV. She even finds herself chuckle at the very bad jokes given in the TV show. "Wow these are the type of jokes that you cringed too."

"Yeah, they give you second hand embarrassment. That's why it's so funny." Lucas responds.

Max laughs, going to wipe her eyes slowly. "So what are we going to do today?"

Lucas takes a bite of his apple. "Did you want to have a sleep day or go out?"

"I kind of wanted to go out. See the lights on the river walk. But if we do I wanted to go around the evening time that way we can see the lights more." Max responds.

"Then did you want to be leaving around seven then?" Lucas questions.

Max nods her head. "Yeah that sounds good." Plus that gives her more time to rest and stretch out her legs more.

So Max and Lucas watch the horrible show for a little before they both doze off to sleep again. When they wake up it is close to five, so they both decide to just use the last hour to lay around in bed and watch TV and play tic tac toe on the little notepad the hotels always have until it is time for them to get ready at six.

"You totally cheated!" Max says, Lucas winning another game at tic tac toe.

"How can you cheat in tic tac toe?" Lucas laughs, turning the page of the notepad to start off another game.
