I am not writing the scenes where everyone vanished one after the other. I may be a writer, but I have a soul, and watching Luffy cry makes my whole world shatter... Writing post-Marineford arc will be hell🙂

After what seemed like just a few minutes of them staying at Shakky's place, the Straw Hats took their things and said their goodbyes to her and Rayleigh for now.
"Who would have thought that we would run into one of the Pirate King's own crewmates." Franky mused as the rest followed after him and Zoro.

"Quite an unexpected thing, really. I was surprised that there were people from that time who were alive." (Y/n) nodded in agreement before her body tensed up when she looked ahead. While there was nobody standing there, (Y/n) could see a large, ominous, shadowy figure.
'What is that?'

"And he sure has an incredible presence, especially for his age." Chopper chimed in.
"Well, he is the first guy someone thinks of when you say Roger's nakama." Usopp told him.
"I am glad to have met him." Franky smirked.
"(Y/n)-chan, are you alright?" Sanji asked quietly after noticing her dazed state.

"Can we go back to the park?" Luffy laughed a little as the rest sent him warning stares.
"You keep your mouth shut!"
"Hey, did you hear me?" Sanji gently grabbed her shoulder and shook her lightly, which was enough to get her attention back on him.
"H-huh? What? I am sorry, Sanji-kun. What did you say?" She asked in a somewhat calm manner as the cook looked at her in worry.
"Are you alright? You have been staring at a spot and weren't blinking at all."

"Oh, that? Yeah, I am fine -"
"Hey, who are you?"
Luffy's question made the two snap their heads in his direction, and what they saw definitely made their hearts drop. Or better yet, who they saw made them look on in fright.
"Not him again! We barely survived last time!" Nami cried out.
"Wait, how do you know him, Nami?" Luffy asked as Usopp grabbed him and pulled him back.
"Luffy, stand back! He is one of the Shichibukai!" Sanji warned him along with (Y/n).

"He is too strong, even for you, please, be careful!" She told the boy as the captain looked at the man again.
"A Shichibukai? Why is he here?"
Quietly, the man took off his gloves before turning his palm in Luffy's direction.
"Luff-"
Brook's scream got cut off when a giant, shining light came out of his palm before shooting it in Luffy's direction.

"Luffy! What's going on?!"
"Since when could he do that?!"
Luffy, who had jumped out of the way before any harm could have been done, looked back at his crew as they recovered.
"Hey! That wasn't a shockwave!"
"Then what was it?" Chopper asked the captain as he excitedly spoke.
"A beam!"
The two now looked in amazement at the Shichibukai before Usopp had to ground them.
"This isn't the time for that, you morons!"

"But, how do you guys know him?" Luffy looked at them oddly before (Y/n) spoke to him
"Right, you passed out shortly after defeating Moria, but he was there as well and watching us. He came to fight us right after that. Though, I don't know how much had happened since I did pass out." (Y/n) noted as Franky stood protectively in front of her.
"You stay back. He is after you and Luffy the most."

"Franky is right. We barely kept him off from taking you two the last time." Nami added in when Franky shot in the Shichibukai's direction, but to (Y/n)'s surprise, he wasn't wounded as all, but it looked more like he was dented now.
'Is.... Is he a cyborg as well?' (Y/n) thought as Sanji prepared for the attack after Luffy used his gear to catch Bartholomew off guard a little.
"But, we are rested now, compared to last time. Maybe we stand a chance to escape him, at least."
