Everything that had happened leading up to Oars finding Nami happened so fast that (Y/n) herself can't recall. All she knew was that at one point, she was by Sanji's side, and in the next, she was bolting to Nami's side to get her before Oars could.

"Nami! I got you! Don't worry!"
Hearing (Y/n) voice, the navigator slowly opened her eyes as Oars destroyed the building. Finding herself in (Y/n)'s arms as the girl carried her to a safer spot was definitely a relief to the girl.
"(Y/n), you are a real-life saver! Your wings are also very beautiful!" Nami said with a red face as the girl smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you for the compliment."
"What was that?! Did you guys see that?!" Sanji exclaimed, and (Y/n) put Nami down.
"See what?" She asked.
"Oars' body stretched in the same way Luffy's does! How can that be?" Zoro explained as (Y/n) looked back at the giant.

"Stretched?! Are you sure that's what you saw? How can his body stretch when he hasn't eaten the devil fruit?" The girl asked while jumping away as the giant attempted to stomp on them.
"Kishishishi! Yes! This is the nightmare I present to you! The Kage Kage power, Kage kakumei! Isn't it wonderful?!"
"What are you even talking about?!" (Y/n) yelled as she caught Nami again when the zombie jumped on the pile of debris they were standing on.

'My hero!!' The navigator thought with heart eyes.
"A shadow complies with the form of substance it reflects. That much is simply natural. The substance and the shadow always need to hold the same shape. That's how nature works. But now, Oars' shadow, which should comply with him, has been invaded by my own shadow and is being controlled! I can alter Oars' body at my own will!" Moria explained gleefully as the Straw Hats stood to the side.

"He basically reversed the law of nature here."
"That's right, Chopper. Moria's shadow is currently stretching out Oars' shadow, making his body comply instead. That means the Oars isn't like Luffy made of rubber, that can give us some hope in fighting that thing. Our attacks wouldn't have done much damage if he had really made out of rubber." (Y/n) noted as Zoro prepared to attack again.

"The only hard part here is to figure out how we can get close enough to him." Zoro spoke as Brook's coughing got their attention.
"Huh? Are you alright?" (Y/n) asked as the skeleton nodded.
"Of course. But, I have an idea what to do about Oars, just listen to me. I will use this flying device to pierc through Oars' shoulder. This will give you guys an advantage in attacking him next." Brook suggested as he pointed at a kite like structure laying on the ground.
"I will need your assistance for this, Robin."

"Of course." Robin nodded as (Y/n), and Zoro looked at each other in worry before looking back at Brook.
"Are you sure you want to do that, Brook? It seems very dangerous to me." (Y/n) said as the skeleton nodded his head.
"Just let him do it, (Y/n)-chan! What's the worst that can happen to an undead skeleton!" Sanji said as Franky and the others got to work with Brook's plan.

"I will go and prepare everything to serve Oars the salt. Please, keep him distracted until then!" Usopp yelled as he left the group to set up everything.
"Hmmm...."
"Wait! (Y/n), Sanji, Zoro, I need to talk to you!"
The three turned to look at Chopper as the others did their parts on helping Brook wound Oars.
"What happened, Chopper?" (Y/n) asked the reindeer.

"I was searching up on Oars and for the cause of his death."
"The cause of his death? What did you find?" Sanji, all curious now, asked.
"If a monster like his hin died before reaching old age, then there is a very good chance that he died from some external cause."
"And what was his? Is it anything we could use against him?" Zoro asked, watching the group that was not too far away from them.
