'I knew that Sanji would go insane over seeing a mermaid, but this reaction exceeded my own expectations.' (Y/n) grimaced as she watched the cook spin around the deck of the ship while cooing over the fact that he had finally met a real mermaid. She tried to ignore his behavior and Luffy's odd questions while walking back to the table and fetching some of the food from it.
"Caimie, do you as a mermaid poop?" Luffy asked the green-haired girl, earning him a hit over the head from Sanji.

"What kind of question is that?!"
"Excuse me, miss..."
"A SKELETON?!" The mermaid exclaimed in a mix of awe and fear.
Sanji's face paled, and he slowly turned around to find Brook in front of Caimie.
"Can you lend me some money?"
"Stop that!! You two do not know how to behave around women!"
"Here, Camie, you are probably hungry."
The mermaid smiled at (Y/n) as she handed her a plate of muffins and some tea.

"Wow! Thank you! This looks awesome!"
"I can make you a lot more if you want to! I can't believe I am seeing a mermaid for the first time!"
Sanji said while swirling around the two girls.
"He has lost the plot completely." (Y/n) facepalmed as Usopp corrected the cook that they had met Grandma Kokoro, and she was a mermaid, which set the cook into a depressed state.

"Thriller Bark was nothing compared to that horror."
"No need to be rude, Sanji!" Nami and (Y/n) yelled, annoyed at his ridiculous behavior.
"We are so sorry about him." Robin chimed in as Caimie shook her head with an amused expression on her face.
"It's alright. You guys are quite a lively crew, I must say."
"That's one way to put it... By the way, Caimie, what's with that talking starfish over there?"

The mermaid looked in the direction where Zoro was pointing at before answering.
"Oh, that's my pet Pappagg. He is my master."
"You finally remembered me again, Caimie!" Pappagg exclaimed enthusiastically as the mermaid chuckled. Though, her answer made ways to more questions rather than less.

"Wait, so he is your pet and master? How does that work?" (Y/n) asked as she watched the starfish run over to them and jump on Caimie's shoulder.
"I keep him as my pet, though, Pappagg is also a designer for a famous fashion brand Criminal. It's a brand back on Fishman Island." Caimie explained before taking a bite from her muffin as Pappagg proudly smiled at them.

"I am something like her mentor since she wants to be a designer one day."
"Sounds interesting. Albeit it's strange to see a talking starfish." Franky hummed as Luffy nodded in agreement.
"We have a talking skeleton!" Chopper and Zoro butted in, finding it bizarre that this was weird to them.

"Wait, Caimie, if you two are from Fishman Island, you could help us get there. We have been trying to find a way to it, but the log pose isn't telling us how to." Nami explained as Pappagg and Caimie looked at each other before nodding their head.
"We sure can help there. You guys are in luck, especially since you are pretty close to Sabaody. Pirates use it as their gateway to the New World since it's the safest option. It's also the closest island to Fishman island, as well."

"Wait, Sabaody? (Y/n), didn't you say that you need to go there?" Usopp wondered as the said girl gasped, remembering the map she needed to find.
"You are right! I need to find the map shop that the old lady told me about. Would it be an issue if we made a quick stop there? I know Fishman Island is important to you guys, but this is also important to me."

She asked the crew, who looked at each other before shrugging.
"I don't mind. Would be nice to make a little stop before continuing to the New World." Luffy grinned and nodded along.
"Maybe I can look for come medical books as well." Chopper cheered as Brook added in that he was excited over the music there.
