In a matter of a few minutes, (Y/n) was in the spot Luffy was in earlier while the captain was sat in a safe spot overseeing the arena as the girl waited for whatever opponent was waiting for her. (Y/n) felt the sharp glares of the three sisters and an old woman's curious gaze at the rest of the stadium went quiet, waiting for whatever Hancock will do or say next. (Y/n) went from looking around the place to focusing her attention on the old woman who was holding a snake like it was a walking stick.

'That woman seems oddly familiar. Did I meet her? What are these snakes to them? Pets? Weapons? Maybe both... And chairs as well, apparently.' The girl thought to herself while looking at Salome as Luffy's yell caught her attention.
"Hey! (Y/n), please don't do this! I will be fine on my own! Please, don't hurt yourself because of me!"
"Luffy, I will be fine! Just sit down and keep your mouth shut for now!" (Y/n) warned the captain because she knew how ignorant he was to his own bluntness at times.

"Well then, are you ready to start this fight?"
(Y/n) looked back at Hancock and nodded her head.
"Yeah, sure. I just want to get to Luffy so that we can leave."
The empress hid her annoyance for appearance sake and just looked coldly at her.
"You should know that you won't leave this arena alive. You are up against a very well trained panther. You are just delaying the inevitable for that man."

"I am not going to lose! Do your worst!" (Y/n) challenged Hancock, her neutral look morphing into a glare.
'Luffy saved my country and I when he had nothing to gain from it. I won't let him down.'
"Besides, I don't plan on losing! Luffy isn't the Pirate King yet!"
The empress felt a nerve getting struck by (Y/n)'s grin and attitude.
'She has lost her mind to do all of this for a man who will only use her!'

Luffy, on the other hand, was over the moon when he heard her words, and he could feel his cheeks heating up.
'She believes in me! (Y/n) believes in me!'
"Well, if you want to -"
"Wait! Habihime-sama, please!"
(Y/n) looked in surprise as a blonde girl ran into the arena, and she wasn't the only confused one either.

Judging by the whispers of the women in the stadium, (Y/n) could only guess that it wasn't common to go against Hancock or interrupt her.
"Hm?" The empress looked at the blonde with an unimpressed look as she stood in front of (Y/n) while two other women joined her. One was pretty tall with long brown hair, while the other one was a bit shorter with pigtails.

"Marguerite! Get back here!"
"Wait, please! This man really means no harm! I do not believe he does! Please, this man and his friend don't seem to have any ill intentions."
"Get back up there. You will get in trouble." (Y/n) told the blonde who ignored her.
"One of my country's guards?"
"My name is Marguerite!"
The blonde answered to Hancock before the empress continued.

"The simple act of entering this country means death for any man. His crewmate here could have been spared if she hadn't made the offer. Why are you defending them?"
"I feel that I have a debt to him, and by extension to his companion as well! Because the one who brought this man into our country was me!" Marguerite's confession sent the other warriors into a state of shock and panic as (Y/n)'s worry started to rise.
