Ok, so I really want to address this now because I saw a lot of people asking me not to kill Ace in this story. While I understand that a lot of you love him, trust me, he is in my top 10 of favorite OP characters, but there are things I can't do as an author. Ace's death is crucial for a lot of the post-timeskip arcs, especially Wano and Dressrosa. Additionally, I wouldn't know what to do with him if he stays alive. His death, as painful as it was, had its reason. I really wouldn't know what to do with Ace other than turn him into a background character. Now, when I write chapters, I usually don't have much of a plan and sometimes change my mind on what will happen in the middle of writing, but I can't say that it will happen when we are on the Ace topic.

Again, I understand if some of you lose interest in my work for this. Thank you for being here and supporting me in case you won't do it anymore. I am very sorry for making some of you sad or disappointed with this A.N. but I wanted to say it now so that you don't get your hopes up too much. There are things I can't bend the canon for.

(Y/n) had kind of lost the track of time due to being trapped in the cabin for a few days. All she did was stay inside, eat, drink, and talk, which was great for a while, until it turned boring. (Y/n) didn't want to go outside much since the captain was already suspicious of her and the last thing she needed now was cause ruckus on a ship in the middle of the sea, and close to the Gates of justice at that. Luffy didn't mind much the arrangement much since it gave him the opportunity to eat a lot of meat, and he used that opportunity quite well, (Y/n) must admit.

"Luffy, you will choke on the food by this rate. Please eat slowly." (Y/n) said while drinking her tea as Salome rested his head on her lap. Hancock found the whole scene between the two very much adorable, and she didn't hesitate to gush over it internally.
'Ahh! Salome and (Y/n)-chan are so adorable! It warms my heart knowing he loves my future wife so much-'

Hancock snapped out of her fantasy when she heard Luffy's coughing, and she sent him a side glare.
"I told you so, Luffy." (Y/n) said, slapping his back a few times before getting up to collect the plates.
'I was imagining things here!!' Hancock pouted before turning her attention back to (Y/n).
"(Y/n)-chan, let me do that. You should rest."
The younger put her mask back on and shook her head, giving her a closed eyes smile.

"I will do that, Hancock-san. You already did so much for us. The least I can do is clean up the messes we made." She said and started rolling the cart with the empty plates to the door. Hancock watched her quietly as her face heated up. She heard something else entirely.
'You are such a great woman, Hancock-san. I love you.' The (Y/n) in her head said, and she started giggling to herself while hiding her face.

"(Y/n)-chan, it's ok to call me Hancock, my dear."
Luffy stared at the empress oddly as she continued talking to herself.
"Lady, are you sure that you are alright?"

Meanwhile, outside (Y/n) was busy playing her role as the assistant while handing the cart to the marine men.
"The food was very good this morning. Habihime-sama is very pleased. Remember to bring another meal in two hours that has the same amount of food as this one." She said sternly as the men stared at all the empty plates.

"W-wait! We understand that Hancock-sama requires five meals a day, but"
"Are you a man questioning Habihime-sama's orders?" (Y/n) cut the man off, sending him a bone-chilling glare.
"Well, no, but... But we will be left without any food at this rate. We need to eat as well. We will starve -"

"Then starve." (Y/n) said before walking into the cabin and slamming the door behind herself, leaving the men speechless.
"She... She is as scary as Hancock-sama..."
"Yes... But she does have pretty eyes. I wonder what the rest of her face looks like."
