Colony 9, Universe-507438353 - A few years ago
During an attack on Colony 9, Shulk, Dunban, and Reyn was engaged in a battle against the formidable faced mech. Shulk swung his sword at the metal of the mech, but it bounced off without causing any significant damage. Shulk grunted and exclaimed, "The Monado! It's not working!"
The mech wagged one of its fingers and Reyn gulped. "Oi! What d'ya mean?!"
"How can that be?" Dunban asked. "The Monado should cut through Mechon with ease!"
Shulk noticed red lines on the Mechon's arm. "What is that light? Other Mechon doesn't have that. Could...Could that light be why the Monado has no effect?"
The Mechon swung its claw at the three and Dunban exclaimed, "Shulk! Reyn! Get down!" the three flinched at the sight of the Mechon. Dunban glared and said, "Stay back! I'll take it from here!"
"No! You can't take any more!" Reyn chased after him.
The Mechon hit both of them with its claws, knocking them back. The two sparked with lightning in their bodies and Shulk suddenly noticed the Mechon hitting him, making him suffer similar effects that Dunban and Reyn had. The Mechon charged at Shulk but then was hit by a missile from behind.
As Shulk gazed, he noticed Fiora, Dunban's younger sister, at the controls of a military robot. He was taken aback. Fiora?! She's gonna get killed!!
"Everyone. Get away, right now!" Fiora ordered.
"Fiora!" Dunban uttered.
As Fiora battled her way through the Mechon horde, she bravely charged toward the imposing metal-faced Mechon. Shulk was suddenly granted a vision of Fiora's demise. Shulk gasped and said, "What did I just...? Fiora! GET BACK!!"
"I won't let you hurt any more people!" Fiora said to the Mechon. "We WILL save Colony 9!" she opened fire on the Mechon but it didn't damage it one bit.
The Mechon fired a beam from its head and hit Fiora's mech. She grunted and kept opening fire on it. Shulk gasped and said, "FIORA! GET OUT OF THERE! RUN!"
"YOU WANT MORE?!" Fiora screamed and impaled the Mechon's head with her mech's cannon.
She pulled back and fell. The explosion that came from the Mechon's head cleared and she gasped in horror that the Mechon was still alive! She gasped. "How?"
Fiora let out a whimper as the Mechon seized hold of the mech's cannon with its claw and fixed its fiery red gaze upon her, resembling the devil himself. The Mechon threw Fiora to a wall and Shulk cried out, "Fiora!"
As Fiora witnessed her life with Shulk flash before her eyes, she couldn't help but whimper and tear up. The Mechon lifted its claws and Shulk let out a scream. "NOOOOOOOO!!!"
The Mechon then stabbed Fiora and she screamed. As Dunban's eyes widened in horror, Shulk attempted to rise to his feet. The Mechon carelessly threw Fiora to the side, leaving Shulk to witness the sight of her blood staining its sharp claws. Tears streamed down Shulk's face as his eyes glowed with fury. He gripped the Monado tightly and let out a piercing scream, "I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!"
Gaur Plains, Bionsis - Present Day
Shulk slashed his Monado blade at the Mechon, named Metal Face. Ryu kept avoiding the Mechon's attack and Cloud kept attacking with his Buster Sword. Metal Face laughed and said, "HAHAHA!! Your mates are too weak! Just like that Fiora!"
"RRAAAAAHHH!!!!" Shulk screamed.
Ryu flipped a few times and released another Hadoken from his hands. Cloud jumped and swung his sword upward, releasing a green crescent-shaped energy beam from it. Metal Face only blocked it and Cloud gulped.
