Aria POV
I woke up in cold sweat from another nightmare. I got out of the bed carefully trying to stop myself from crying so I wouldn't wake Ace or Caleb up. It was 5:15 in the morning and still dark outside.

I felt Caleb gently pull me by my arm back into the bed covering me in the blanket."D-Daddy." I tried to speak up but my tears seemed to stop me from speaking. "It's okay princess I know. You'll be okay."

He wiped my tears kissing my head pulling me even closer into him. "Shh just sleep princess none of it is real I promise." I was angry with him but I still needed his attention and comfort. He was all I had and now he was leaving and he doesn't even know for how long.

I know he's doing it for our safety but I can't be away from him more than five minutes and now he's leaving only god knows where and for how long? A couple of days or even weeks.

I don't know how I was going to do this without him this was hard for me to process and accept. I didn't want to be angry with him but I couldn't help it. He was my everything my whole life revolved around him.

"Baby what's wrong? This isn't about the nightmare is it?" He knew it wasn't my stupid nightmares making me cry this badly, it was about him leaving.

I knew he was leaving later on today. "D-Daddy I d-don't w-want y-you t-to g-go. I-I'm j-just s-scared y-you w-won't c-come b-back."

He got out of the bed putting on some sweatpants. "Come on let me show you something." I got out of the bed following him as we went downstairs.

He turned on the lights in the kitchen and then turned around to look at me, grabbing my hand gently as he pulled me forward to see what he was trying to show me.

"I know you've had a bad experience with going into basements and cellars alone that's why I haven't told you or showed you this but I think you're ready to see it.

Just think of it as a safe room." He opened the pantry door. "Listen to me carefully Aria." He touched my face gently making sure I was listening and looking at him.

"If anything happens while I'm away I want you and Ace to hide in here it opens to yours and Ace's finger prints. See look." He grabbed my hand pressing it softly against the wall.

As soon as my fingers touched the wall a blue glowing light outlining what seemed to be a hidden door. The glowing lines connected at the top softly opening the door that wasn't noticeable until now.

I looked at Caleb shocked on how he managed to build something like that and not tell me about it until now. He grabbed my hand making me follow him inside the large room it felt like I was entering another dimension.

There were weapons displayed on the walls cameras and computers in one area. It looked like a laboratory of some sort. Very high quality and cool yet safe and secure all at once.

"There's a kitchen two rooms and food. The weapons are in glass cases it only opens with your finger prints and Ace already knows about this room." He explained but I was still in shock at the discovery of this.

"Princess look at me I know your angry and upset at me but I want you and Ace to be safe I wouldn't be leaving if it wasn't important you know this princess." He reasoned wiping the tears that slipped out of my eyes.

"I-I'm s-sorry d-daddy I j-just d-don't w-want a-anything t-to h-happen t-to y-you." "I know princess but I need you to be strong for me I won't let anything happen to me I promise."

I hugged him trying so badly to accept that nothing would happen to him. I was scared and worried. I can't be without him he was all I had and I didn't want to risk losing him.

He picked me up I wrapped my arms and legs around him kissing his lips lovingly. More tears streamed down my face as I kissed him I didn't like this at all.

"Please stop crying princess." I kissed him again trying to stop my tears by distracting myself. I loved him so much that the thought of him leaving broke my heart into pieces.

"J-Just h-hold m-me d-don't l-let m-me g-go p-please d-daddy." He carried me out of the safe room back into the kitchen so we could go upstairs to our bedroom. I hugged him tightly needing all his comfort.

He laid me down on the bed gently getting under the covers with me. I scooted myself closer into him he pulled me on top of him so I was laying on his chest letting me wrap my arms around his neck and my legs straddling his sides.

His hands went under my shirt touching my bare skin so I could feel closer to him. I relaxed in his arms kissing his chest and neck working my way up to his lips.

His fingers brushed up and down my back trailing softly against my spine causing me to shiver and goosebumps to rise all over my skin at his soothing touch.

"Daddy's sweet little princess aren't you princess?" He praised me kissing my head delicately. "I-I'm d-daddy's s-sweet l-little p-princess." I repeated loving his praises. He always made me feel safe in his arms.

"Ace told me you called me a big meanie yesterday." He said with a little grin. "I d-don't k-know w-why h-he w-would t-tell y-you t-that I n-never s-said t-that." I denied it hiding my blushing face from him.

"So you're saying our son is lying." He retorted making me feel guilty. "O-Okay m-maybe I d-did b-but I-it w-was b-because y-you m-made m-me m-mad." I gave in quickly.

"I need to start punishing you little one your attitude is getting out of hand." I felt my face heat up when he finished his sentence. "N-No d-daddy I-I'll b-be g-good n-now." I said sitting up so I could look at him.

"It's too late princess I gave you too many chances." His eyes seemed to darken as I stared into them. "B-Bu-But." I tried to explain my attitude but I couldn't form any reason for my behavior.

"Don't push it princess I'm already willing to wait until I get back to punish you don't make me change my mind." He said sternly placing his hand on my ass as a warning.

I crossed my arms pouting at him I wanted to say something but I knew if I did I would get punished by him even worse.

"Don't pout at me princess you're just adding onto the list of reasons I should punish you." I just wanted to wipe off that smirk on his handsome face.

I laid back down on his chest staying quiet even tho all I wanted to do was let out my brattiness. He was being so unfair and mean and he knew it he even had the audacity to smirk about it.

"I-I'm s-starting t-to t-think y-you e-enjoy m-making m-me a-angry." His laugh rumbled throughout his body. "You have no idea princess." He admitted shamelessly.

I playfully smacked his chest but that just made him laugh even more. "Y-Your s-so m-mean." I muttered against his hard chest.

I huffed closing my eyes to avoid getting caught rolling my eyes. "Too bad your stuck with me." He grabbed my left hand kissing it right above my ring.

I smiled to myself wrapping my arms around his neck again and snuggling my head into his neck pecking his cheek softly.  I was still upset about him leaving but I knew he was doing what he had to do to keep us safe.
