Chapter 68. Good to Bad

Aria POV
Ace and I woke up before Caleb this morning. We were silently coloring on the floor next to the bed while Caleb slept.

"A-Ace y-you w-wanna d-do s-something b-better t-than c-coloring I-in c-coloring b-books?" I whispered to him so Caleb wouldn't wake up. "Sure mommy. What is it?" Ace whispered back to me.

I got up from laying on the floor and slowly tip toed over to Caleb's side of the bed to his nightstand drawer. I carefully and quietly took out the markers Caleb got me that were safe to use on your skin.

"L-let's c-color I-in d-daddy's t-tattoos b-but w-we h-have t-to b-be q-quiet a-and g-gentle s-so h-he w-won't w-wake u-up." Ace grabbed a marker excitedly.

We both got on the bed carefully. Ace was on my side of the bed while I was on Caleb's side of the bed. Caleb was laying in the middle of the bed without a shirt on so it was the perfect opportunity for us to color in his tattoos.

Me and Ace started to color in his tattoos on his chest and stomach working around his wounds on his chest. Ace had the biggest smile on his face while he was coloring in Caleb's tattoos.

Every time Caleb would move we would giggle and wait for him to stop moving and make sure he wasn't going to wake up before we started coloring his tattoos again.

He would snore softly and flinch in his sleep a couple times making us mess up on coloring in his tattoos but we just continued in a different spot.

After I finished coloring in all the ones I wanted on his chest I started doing the ones on his neck leaving the rest for Ace to do on his abs and chest.

I loved coloring in the spider on his neck and the tattoo he got for me on his chest of Aurora sleeping. After I finished coloring in the tattoo I laid down on his chest snuggling my face in his neck.

I wanted him to wake up already. I wanted his attention he was sleeping too much today and I didn't like it. But at the same time I didn't want to ruin his sleep because he looked so peaceful.

"D-daddy w-wake u-up I m-miss y-you." I whispered against his neck to wake him up. I felt him kiss me on my cheek making me smile. "I'm up princess." He said sleepily from just waking up.

I placed small quick kisses all over his face happy that he finally woke up. "Dad look what me and mommy did." Ace pointed towards his now completely colored tattoos on his stomach, chest and neck.

I let him sit up on the bed so he could see what we did. "I knew you guys were up to something I heard you both giggling." He said making me and Ace laugh. "It was mommies idea." Ace told him.

"I know it was. My little princess always loved to color don't you princess?" I blushed softly at him hugging him. "Mhmm." I muttered. He always knew when I needed his attention and he did it so carelessly like it was second nature to him.

"I'm going to eat breakfast I'm hungry." Ace told us making us laugh as he ran downstairs to eat. Caleb looked at me with a small smile kissing my lips and nose playfully.

"I know your thinking about what Ace said yesterday don't worry about it. If your having my twins we will name them Matt and Aiden maybe it's just meant to be that way and god just wants you to meet them way earlier than expected."

I smiled loving the way he always had an explanation for everything to help me cope with anything and everything that I had a problem dealing with.

I hid my blushing face in his neck like always when he made me nervous or happy. "Y-your t-the b-best." I mumbled against his neck. "Only for you princess. Your daddy's precious little princess aren't you baby?"

"Mhmm o-only y-yours d-daddy." I kissed his neck a few times loving his praises towards me. "So perfect and beautiful for daddy." He praised once more making my stomach flutter even more.

He picked me up carrying me downstairs with him to the kitchen. "D-daddy I-I'm n-not h-hungry." "Are you sure princess you haven't been eating a lot lately?"

"I-I'll e-eat l-later." I said. "Okay. But make sure you eat don't lie to me princess." "O-okay d-daddy." He put me down so I could go help Ace put his plate away. There was a knock at the door I looked at Caleb confused on who it could be.

I knew it wasn't Aaron and Layla because they never knocked they just walked in like it was their house. Caleb turned around to go see who it was at the door.

"I'm going to play video games in my room mom." Ace said before going upstairs to his room. I walked towards the front door to see who was at the door too.

"Hello are you Mr Blackwood?" A cop was standing outside in front of Caleb. "Why are you asking?" Caleb asked him before answering his question.

"Do you know a women by the name of Lydia Campbell?" The officer asked Caleb. "Yes why are you asking?" "Because she has been in a car accident. You were the first people in her emergency contacts." The officer explained.

"Is she okay?" Caleb asked him dryly as if he didn't care. "Yes she is. But she has been requesting for you to come to the hospital." Caleb was about to close the door in his face but I stopped him.

"W-where I-is s-she?" I asked the officer. "She's at the Oakland hospital." The officer told me. "W-we w-will b-be t-there s-soon." "No we will not. She's fine she doesn't need us to be there for her." Caleb refused to go.

He pulled me by my arm gently to pull me back into the house. "You can leave and you can tell her we will not be coming to see her. She can call Emma and forget about asking for my help." Caleb told the officer slamming the door shut in his face.

He turned to look at me with an angry expression on his face. "What is wrong with you Aria? Has she not hurt you enough for you to understand that she doesn't care about you?" He almost yelled out.

"S-she w-was I-in a c-car a-accident." I tried to reason with him. "I don't give two fucks if she died right now. She hurt you and disrespected you in front of me. She didn't even have the guts to tell you sorry." He argued back.

"I k-know b-bu-..." "But what Aria? If you walk out this door to go see her I swear I will punish your ass so fucking bad you won't be able to sit on your ass for weeks." He walked away from me angrily slamming his office door shut.
