Chapter 69. Argument

Aaron POV
"Why is there a cop at Caleb's house Aaron?" Layla asked me when we pulled into their driveway. "I don't know baby. Let's go find out." We got out the car quickly with Max walking inside the house.

We could hear Caleb arguing with Aria when we walked inside their house. He slammed his office door shut leaving Aria standing in the hallway with teary eyes.

"What happened Aria?" Layla asked her. "L-Lydia g-got I-in a c-car a-accident a-and h-he's a-angry b-because I w-want t-to g-go m-make s-sure s-she's o-okay." She explained to us.

I walked into Caleb's office he was sitting in his chair with an angry facial expression. "What's going on Caleb?" I asked him standing in front of his desk.

"What do you think fucking happened I'm trying to keep her away from people who don't care about her and she keeps trying to be nice to them." He explained angrily.

"Alright calm down Caleb. You know Aria is a kind person." "I know she is. And I love that about her but she's too nice to the wrong people. I already explained to her plenty of times why she shouldn't be nice to certain people."

Aria barged into his office angrily. "N-not e-everyone I-is h-heartless a-and m-mean l-like y-you. I-I'm g-going t-to c-check o-on h-her w-wether y-you l-like I-it o-or n-not!" She argued back to Caleb.

I could tell Caleb was getting even angrier with her. "I warned you what I would do to you if you walk out this house Aria!" He said warningly. "F-fuck y-you!" Aria yelled to Caleb shocking all of us because she never cussed around us.

She walked out of Caleb's office grabbing her purse and keys to one of Caleb's cars. "Aria get back in here!" Caleb shouted loudly. She slammed the front door closed ignoring Caleb.

"I'm going to kill someone today." Caleb threatened. Layla went to make sure Ace and Max didn't come downstairs to hear any of the arguing going on between Caleb and Aria.

"Calm down Caleb she will come back just let her go see that everything is okay." I told him so he wouldn't do something stupid like killing Lydia or Emma.

Aria POV
I got to the hospital that the officer told me where Lydia was at. It wasn't far from Caleb's house. I was shaking from how angry he made me. "I-is L-Lydia C-Campbell h-here?" I asked the receptionist.

"Let me check for you ma'am." I waited patiently for her to check on her computer while trying to ease my nerves at the same time. "She's in room 3 it's down the hall to your right." "T-thank y-you."

I walked down the hall towards room 3 like she told me to go. I knocked before entering the room. Emma was sitting in a chair next to Lydia who was laying on the hospital bed.

"A-are y-you o-okay L-Lydia?" I asked her ignoring Emma's mean gaze towards me. "Why are you here? Where's Caleb?" Lydia asked me harshly with a disgusted look.

"H-he d-didn't w-want t-to c-come I t-tried t-to g-get h-him t-to c-co-.." "Goodness just shut up already. When are you going to learn to speak properly already?" Emma cut me off from speaking.

"I'm fine I don't know why you came here. Get out of here before I call security." Lydia said angrily. "I h-have d-done n-nothing b-but s-show y-you r-respect I-I'm d-done l-letting y-you b-both t-talk t-to m-me h-however."

"Y-you k-know I d-don't d-deserve y-your a-attitude o-or r-rudeness. I j-just a-argued w-with C-Caleb t-to l-let m-me c-come c-check o-on y-you j-just f-for y-you t-to b-be u-ungrateful a-and k-kick m-me o-out b-because o-of a p-petty b-bitch w-who c-can't g-get o-over a m-married m-man."

"I n-never d-did a-anything t-to y-you f-for y-you t-to b-be s-so a-angry a-and t-treat m-me l-like I-I'm s-some h-hoe o-or u-unworthy p-person. B-both o-of y-you n-need t-to g-grow t-the f-fuck u-up a-and a-act y-your f-fucking a-age w-we a-all k-know y-your w-way t-too o-old t-to b-be a-arguing a-about s-some p-petty s-shit l-like t-this."

"H-hate m-me a-all y-you w-want L-Lydia b-but C-Caleb w-will b-be m-mine f-for t-the r-rest o-of h-his l-life a-and m-mine w-wether y-you l-like i-it o-or n-not."

They both were speechless when I started going off. I walked out of the room walking back to my car so I could go home. My nerves were through the roof at this point tears threatening to spill from how angry I was.

I knew Caleb was right but I couldn't help but feel bad for her. But now I finally understand what Caleb meant when he said I was too nice for my own good.

I got in the car driving back home with shaking hands and small tears rolling down my cheeks. I was angry with myself for not listening and understanding Caleb's words sooner.

He was always trying to protect me and I was always being stubborn failing to listen to him. I knew it wasn't going to end well when I got to the hospital but I still went.

I was relieved for finally going off on them because I knew if I didn't they would continue doing this to me. I was more upset with myself than anything else.

I wiped my tears. I noticed Layla taking Ace with her in the Car with Max and Aaron. "Don't worry Aria I'll bring him back later were just going for ice cream until you and Caleb cool off." Layla told me.

"T-thank y-you L-Layla." I told her weakly kissing Aces head before he got in the car. I walked inside the house Caleb was standing in front of his office door angrily looking at me.

He walked over to me slowly but steadily looking at me angrily. He gently cupped my cheeks wiping my tears with his thumbs.

"Hmm." He muttered to himself before roughly grabbing a fist full of my hair pulling my head back harshly so I would look at him in his eyes because I was avoiding them. His other hand wrapped around my neck tightly pulling my face closer towards him.

"Take off every piece of clothing you have on in our bedroom before I get there. I don't want to hear you say a single word or breath come from your filthy fucking mouth. Do you understand me Aria?" He said right against my face angrily.

I whimpered trying to nod my head to respond to him. "I said do you understand me?" He practically yelled in my face angrily. "Y-ye-yes d-da-daddy." I stuttered horribly because of his tight grip on my neck.
