Chapter 35. Going out with the girls

Aria POV
Layla and Aaron arrived yesterday night they came over today in the morning. "S-Sammy and Earl are coming and so is Zane and his sister." Aaron told us.

"Where here already." Sammy said walking through the front door hugging me and Layla. "You guys ready to go to the mall?" Sammy asked us excitedly. We both nodded our heads ready to go.

"Can I come too?" Zane's sister Emma asked us. "Of course girl, all the girls are going." Sammy told her. "Uncle Zane I missed you!" Ace ran towards Zane hugging him. "Let's go guys." Sammy said.

I began to follow behind them. "Princess." Caleb called for me in a very stern voice making all of us stop in our tracks and turn around. "Come here." He demanded from me.

I walked over to him timidly because everyone was staring at me as I walked towards him. "Wheres my kiss?" He asked me. "S-sorry d-daddy." I whispered softly to him standing on my tippy toes to kiss under his chin.

"Remember you don't have to stay out that long with them call me when ever your ready to come home." He told me knowing how hard it was for me to be away from him for a long period of time. "I k-know d-daddy."

He kissed my lips softly hugging me. "Okay you can go now. I love you princess." "I l-love y-you t-too d-daddy." I gave him one last kiss under his chin before I walked away to leave with the girls.

Sammy and Layla smiled at us sweetly but Emma looked away from me like she was annoyed. We all got in the car together. Caleb got us a driver to take us to the mall.

"You guys are the cutest couple ever." Sammy said making me smile and blush softly. "They are." Layla agreed with Sammy. "I've seen cuter couples." Emma said. "Okay.. so are you saying you finally have a boyfriend?" Sammy asked her smiling at her.

"No I don't have a boyfriend but I do have my eyes on someone but he's in a relationship with someone else." Emma explained to Sammy. "I'm sorry Emma." Sammy told her sympathetically.

I zoned out of their conversation laying my head on Laylas shoulder looking out the window till we got to the mall.

30 minutes later...

We got to the mall I stood next to Layla she let me wrap my arm around hers while we followed behind Sammy and Emma. "Let's go to H&M." Layla suggested. We all went inside the store to look at the clothes.

"Ooo this would look so pretty on you Aria." Layla showed me the dress she was talking about, it was white with gold flowers scattered all over it. "T-that's p-pretty." I said grabbing the dress from her.

"We should all get matching ones together right Sammy?" Layla asked Sammy. "We should, we could wear it when we go out again." Sammy suggested. "You want to Emma?" Layla asked her. "No I don't really like that dress." She replied.

"We can look for another dress or outfit to match each other." Sammy said. "Y-yeah b-but I-I'm s-still g-getting t-this o-one." I told them. I went to pay for the dress at the register while they looked around the store a little more.

"34.98$ is your total." The lady at the register said. I used the card Caleb gave me to pay with. "T-thank y-you." I took the bag from her walking back towards them so we could go to the next store.

We went to three other stores that Emma suggested to find matching outfits for all of us to wear together.

We finally agreed to one of the dresses she found. I didn't really like it because it wasn't something I would never wear but it was something new so I agreed to it.

"C-can w-we g-go g-get s-some I-ice c-cream?" I asked them. "Sure let's go." Layla said holding my hand so we could go. "No we can do that later let's go to more stores shes wasting our time." Emma said annoyed with me.

"She's not wasting our time we've been walking for hours anyway." Layla defended me. "Fine whatever." Emma replied rolling her eyes. "I-it's o-okay L-Layla s-she's r-right l-let's j-just k-keep g-going w-we c-can g-go l-later."

"Are you sure Aria I don't mind going with you." Layla said convincingly. "I-I'm s-sure l-let's k-keep g-going I-I'll b-be f-fine." I told her. Emma clapped her hands happily. "Thank you Aria." She said to me smiling lightly at me

I followed behind them looking at more clothes with them buying a few more clothes that I liked. After going to three more stores I sat down at one of the benches on the walkway because my feet began to hurt.

Layla sat next to me laying her head on my shoulder. Sammy sat next to Layla as well taking a break from all the walking and standing we did. "Come on guys we still have one more store to go to." Emma said.

"Wait Emma we need a break." Sammy told her. She looked at me with an almost angry expression like she was blaming me for them taking a break. I looked away from her not liking how she was making me feel.

5 minutes later...

Layla and Sammy stood up after their short break. "Ready Aria?" Layla asked me. "Y-you g-guys g-go I-I'm g-gonna w-wait h-here." I told them. "You sure?" Sammy asked me. "She's fine let's go already." Emma said before I could reply to Sammy.

"G-go I-I'll w-wait h-here." I told them. "We'll be quick Aria." Sammy told me before they walked away to go to the store Emma wanted to go to.

I waited patiently for them taking out a piece of chocolate from my purse to eat while I waited for them to come back. Watching all the different people going in and out of all the stores around me where I was sitting.

                          30 minutes later...

I was getting nervous that they had left me because they still weren't back. I texted Layla but she didn't respond back to me leaving me on read. "Aria!" I heard Layla shout running towards me. I got up walking towards her.

"I'm so sorry my phone died when I was trying to reply to you. Come on let's go home Sammy and Emma are already walking towards the car now." She explained to me.

I walked with her out of the mall to the car that was waiting for us in front of the mall. We handed the driver all our bags so he could put them in the trunk for us.

Layla got inside the car first then I did sitting next to her while Sammy sat next to Emma. "I hope you didn't mind waiting so long. You should have just came with us." Emma said with an empty smile.

I ignored her looking out the window I couldn't wait to just get home to get away from her she was really irking my nerves. Layla rubbed my back noticing how irritated Emma was making me.
