Chapter 4. Heartache

Aria POV
I watched him get dressed to leave with Aaron to the airport for their mission. Ace sat in my lap playing with one of his toy cars wanting to spend as much time with Caleb before he leaves us.

"Dad do you and uncle Aaron have to go?" He asked him getting off my lap wanting Caleb to hold him instead. "We do but I will call you both whenever I have time I'll try to come back soon." He replied kissing his cheek softly.

"Mommy doesn't like cause your leaving daddy. I don't like seeing her sad." He spoke to Caleb like I couldn't hear them.

"I know but that's why your gonna cheer her up and be good to her right?" Caleb put him down crouching down to his height.

"I will I'll make sure mommy is happy and safe while your gone I promise." He said smiling sweetly at me while Caleb ruffled his hair proudly. "I know you will daddy can always count on you to make mommy feel better and safe."

"Ronnie and Max are coming over today go see if their here yet." Ace smiled widely excited his friends were here. Max was Aaron's and Laylas son he was 3 years old Ace and him were best friends. They were inseparable.

"Come here princess." He grabbed my hands pulling me up to stand up. He turned me around so my back was against his front wrapping his arms around my waist holding my hands against my stomach.

He brushed my hair off my shoulders kissing my cheek softly while looking at me through the mirror that was in front of me. He delicately brushed his nose up and down the side of my neck placing small warm kisses all over my neck.

My mouth fell open my eyes closing on their own enjoying the feeling of his soft lips on my skin. "D-daddy." I whispered lowly you could barely hear my voice. He nipped and sucked on my skin teasing me.

His teeth grazed the side of my neck right where I was most sensitive releasing another moan from me but louder. I tilted my head more to the side giving him more access to my neck pushing his face into my neck.

My body went weak I was leaning up against his front fully at his mercy to do as he pleased with me. "D-daddy p-please." My eyes opened staring at him through the mirror. He looked at me with a menacing smile his eyes dark and primal.

He dragged his tongue along the length of my neck all while watching me through the mirror making sure I was looking at what he was doing.

He cupped my jaw forcing me to look at him through the mirror just as he sinks his teeth into my skin.

I hissed suppressing my screams and tears squeezing my eyes shut as I whimpered from his tongue soothing the pain. He marked me a few more times with his teeth my tears slipping out uncontrollably from the pain.

"You'll be good for daddy while I'm gone won't you princess." He said against my ear turning me around so I was facing him. "Y-yes I-I'll b-be g-good d-daddy." I answered kissing him back.

His tongue slipped into my mouth intertwining with mine the kiss was heated for a moment but then turned into a goodbye kiss my tears slipped into my mouth as I kissed him griping his shirt tightly.

I couldn't kiss him anymore my heart was aching for him to stay with me and Ace. He hugged me letting me cry out my tears into his chest. "I'll come back to you I promise princess."

He wiped my tears away kissing my forehead, nose, and lips softly. "I love you so much princess." He warmly smiled at me trying his best to comfort me but he knew it was going to be hard because all I wanted was for him to stay.

"I l-love y-you m-more d-daddy." He kissed my lips once more and cheek softly grabbing my hand so we could go downstairs.

Aaron and Layla were hugging each other with their son Max in the living room Layla was crying just like I was.

Lydia had a few tears and Sammy. "Dad are you and uncle Aaron leaving now?" Ace asked Caleb with glossy eyes. "We are Ace but you and Max can play as much as you want as long as you ask mommy and auntie Layla. Okay?" He picked him up letting him hug him.

"I know dad I'll protect mommy and Max will protect auntie Layla just come back home soon I'm gonna miss you dad." He hugged Caleb tighter crying even more now.

"When I get back I'll take you and mommy to get ice cream just stop crying I'll be back as soon as I can." He reassured him making him smile because he loved ice cream just like me.

"Can we bring Max and Ronnie too?" He asked him now smiling and happy again. "Yeah we can but Ronnie is going home tomorrow he can come next time."

He nodded his head hugging Caleb once more before he put him back down so he could go play with Max again.

Lydia and Sammy hugged him and Aaron. "Be safe both of you and come back alive I need more grand babies." Lydia scolded both of them with a stern tone.

Caleb laughed at her request looking over at me as I blushed profusely at what they were talking about.

"I'm being serious Caleb this isn't funny Ace is already four years old and Max is three you guys need to get your act together."

She smacked his head softly with her hand leaving the wooden spoon in her apron because of me.

They said their final goodbyes to us we all followed them outside by their cars. Caleb pulled me to the side hugging me. "Be daddy's good girl while I'm gone princess. I love you so much I'll call you and Ace as much as I can I promise."

I kissed under his chin too short to reach his lips or cheeks. "I l-love y-you d-daddy." He kissed my lips and hugged me one last time.

He picked up Ace hugging him and kissing his head. "Don't let mommy worry too much while I'm gone." He told him. "I won't dad. "He let him go so he could stand next to me.

He gave us one last glance waving goodbye to all of us before getting in the car to leave with Aaron.

My tears welled up once again for the third time as I watched the car leave our driveway until it disappeared into the distance.

"Mommy don't cry daddy will be home soon I know it he promised us he would." I picked him up kissing his cheek softly while he wiped my tears like Caleb would.

"Your too pretty to cry mommy." He repeated the same words Caleb would tell me when I would wake up from a nightmare.

"Y-your s-so s-sweet m-mommy l-loves y-you s-so m-much." He kissed my cheek laughing when I tickled his sides while walking back into the house with everyone else.
