Chapter 121. Sweet destruction

Aria POV
I woke up this morning to the sound of the babies crying on the baby monitor. Caleb was already at work like always. I walked into the babies room making them all a bottle of milk so they wouldn't cry anymore.

I wanted to go drop off Caleb his lunch today so Synthia agreed to watch the babies for me while I went. "Aria I got it you can go make your husbands lunch so you can go drop it off." Synthia walked inside the babies room.

"T-thank y-you S-Synthia." I smiled at her thankful for her helping me out. "There's no need for you to thank me Aria I love watching these little guys anyway." She told me smiling sweetly.

I walked out of the room going into Aces room to wake him up as well. "A-Ace w-wake u-up." I softly shook his shoulder to wake him up. He opened his eyes slowly smiling at me sleepily.

"Did dad leave already?" He asked me. "Y-yeah h-he d-did." I answered him as he sat up on his bed. "I over slept again." He groaned angrily frowning.

"W-what's w-wrong?" I asked him. "I wanted to see him before he left but I keep forgetting to wake up." He explained to me.

"I-its o-okay w-were g-going t-to s-see h-him n-now." He smiled again making me happy cause I made him smile. "Really?" He asked me getting off his bed so he could get ready.

"Y-yup I w-wanted t-to s-surprise h-him w-with l-lunch t-today." I explained to him. "I'm gonna get dressed so we can leave." He told me getting excited about going to see Caleb.

"O-okay t-take y-your t-time c-cause I s-still h-have t-to m-make h-his l-lunch." I warned him. "Okay mommy." I walked out of his bedroom  closing his bedroom door so he could have privacy to get dressed.

I walked downstairs making my way into the kitchen so I could start cooking Caleb's lunch. I wanted to try and make him his favorite meal that Lydia made him when I first met her after me and Caleb got married.

I remember her saying it was called Parmigiana I really hoped I made it good or at least close enough to how hers tasted. I started taking out all the ingredients to make it for him.

                                2 hours later...

"Mommy are you done yet?" Ace asked me for the fifth time impatiently as I finished packing Caleb's lunch in a container for him. "Y-yes I-I'm f-finally d-done n-now."

He smiled widely and happily at me. "B-but I h-have t-to g-get d-dressed f-first." His smile dropped turning into a frown. "Mommy your so mean." He complained.

"I a-am n-not m-mean A-Ace d-don't s-say t-that." I told him not liking being called the mean parent. "Okay but you don't have to get dressed mommy you look beautiful like that."

I looked down at my pjs that he was saying I looked beautiful in. "R-really A-Ace I c-can't g-go s-see y-your d-dad l-like t-this." I explained to him.

"Dad won't even care he always says your beautiful and you are mom stop being mean to yourself." He told me making me smile at how sweet he was being to me.

I walked over to him hugging him tightly. "I l-love y-you A-Ace m-my s-sweet l-little b-boy." I told him as he hugged me back. "I love you too mom." He mumbled back kissing my cheek.

"Okay go get dressed mom I wanna go see dad." He ushered me away to quickly go get dressed. I kissed his cheek quickly before running upstairs to go to my room so I could get dressed quickly.

I grabbed one of my sun dresses that Caleb liked the most that I would wear. Today I just wanted to make him feel special because I've been giving him a hard time these past few weeks.
