Chapter 118. Wrongfully accused

Aria POV
I quickly walked inside the police station with Aaron close behind me. I looked around looking for Caleb. "He's in a jail cell Aria." Aaron told me.

I followed him to an office we walked inside the chief of the police department was standing inside with Zane.

"L-let m-my h-husband o-out h-he d-did n-nothing w-wrong." I told the chief. "I can't do that ma'am he threatened to kill an officers family." The chief said frustratedly.

"H-he p-pulled u-us o-over f-for n-nothing a-and s-said C-Caleb h-had a-an I-illegal w-weapon I-in t-the c-car w-which i-is a l-lie." I argued. "We know that now we seen that it was registered in his name ma'am."

"S-so w-why I-is h-he s-still I-in a j-jail c-cell l-let h-him o-out?" I asked him getting annoyed with them. "Because he threatened to kill an officers family we will let him out once he promises he will not kill anyone." The chief responded.

"S-so y-you w-want h-him t-to l-lie?" I asked him because we all knew no one could change Caleb's mind about killing someone even I couldn't change his mind.

"The police officer apologized to him multiple times for what he did." The chief said. "Y-you t-think t-that a-an a-apology I-is e-enough t-to c-convince C-Caleb n-not t-to k-kill h-him?"

I looked at Aaron and Zane as if to ask them if this guy was being serious right now. "Let her go see Caleb you and that cop don't know what you've gotten yourselves into." Aaron told the chief.

"Come this way ma'am." Another officer called me over to follow him to Caleb's jail cell. Aaron and Zane stayed in the chiefs office I could hear them arguing with him as I followed the officer.

There were other people in jail cells as we walked past them. Once I seen Caleb i ran past the officer towards Caleb's cell. Caleb noticed me he stood up standing behind the bars.

"I told them not to let you come here. Why are you here?" Caleb said irritated that Aaron didn't listen to him.

"D-don't h-hurt A-Aaron I t-told h-him t-to b-bring m-me h-here. I-I'm y-your w-wife d-don't a-ask m-me w-why I-I'm h-here." I told him annoyed with his attitude.

"I-I'm m-mad a-about t-this j-just a-as m-much a-as y-you I-I'm y-your w-wife I w-want t-to b-be h-here f-for y-you n-no m-matter w-what y-you d-did w-were s-suppose t-to b-be t-there f-for e-each o-other." I explained to him.

A small grin formed on his lips as he looked at me. "My clever girl what would I do without your smart ass." He said making me smile with a small blush.

"S-stop y-your m-making m-me b-blush t-this i-is s-serious I w-want y-you t-to c-come h-home a-already." He grabbed my hand through the bars intertwining our hands together.

"I'm coming home today I don't know why it's taking them so long I promise their going to pay for this don't worry princess." He reassured me.

I could hear loud footsteps coming towards us me and Caleb both looked ahead to see who was coming. The chief, Aaron, Zane, and another man I didn't recognize but looked very angry were all walking towards us.

"Let him out now." The man I didn't recognize demanded the chief to open the jail cell to let Caleb out. "Fucking took you long enough Michael." Caleb said to the man that I didn't recognize.

"I apologize sir I came as soon as I could." Michael said to Caleb. "Where's is he?" Caleb asked Michael. "He's in handcuffs right now." Michael told him.

We walked to the front of the police station where the cop that pulled us over was in handcuffs sitting in a chair with two other cops standing behind him.
