Aria POV
In just a few weeks Christmas was coming around that was my favorite holiday to celebrate. I never got to celebrate it when I was younger.I didn't even dare to ask Elizabeth and Andrew for anything after what they did to me on my 13th birthday for asking them for a simple birthday cake.
I didn't want to get beaten and locked inside a dark basement with no food or water for a whole day.
I was still scared to go out alone after what happened to me and Layla at the mall so me and Layla decided to do all our shopping online.
I was on my phone shopping for all the presents I wanted to get Ace and Max and of course Sammy's kids. I was so excited because Sammy and Earl were going to come here to New York to celebrate Christmas with us.
"Princess have you seen my phone?" Caleb asked walking inside our bedroom where I was laying in our bed. "N-no." I replied. "Are you sure? I can't find it anywhere I had it in my pocket and now it's gone."
"I-I'm s-sure. I d-don't k-know w-where I-it w-went." He looked over at me while I looked at the phone screen. "Your absolutely sure you don't know where my phone went?" He asked me again.
"Y-yeah." I said confused looking at him now. "So my phone isn't in your hands right now as we speak." I knew I was using his phone the whole time I just liked to use his phone more than mine.
"I n-need m-my p-phone l-leave m-me a-alone d-daddy I-I'm b-busy w-working." I motioned with my hand to shoo him away looking back at the phone again.
"What are you doing that's so busy that your shooing me away for? And why do you need my phone you have a phone too princess?" He proceeded to sit next to me on the bed instead of leaving.
"I l-like y-your p-phone b-better a-and I-I'm b-busy r-right n-now y-your d-distracting m-me." He pushed away a few strands of my hair from my face smiling at me. "A-and I-it's n-not y-your p-phone I-it's o-our p-phone."
He chuckled at my statement making me blush. I groaned frustrated. "Y-your b-being s-so b-bad d-daddy y-you w-won't l-let m-me j-just b-be g-great." He laughed at me even more.
"I won't let you be great?" He said offended. "Y-yes y-you." I smacked him with my pillow lightly. "Okay fine I'll let you be great at least give me your phone."
I was about to hand him my phone but stopped myself squinting my eyes at him suspiciously. "W-why d-do y-you n-need m-my p-phone?" He started smiling again.
"Princess quit playing and give me the phone already I need to get back to work." I gave him my phone slowly acting suspicious. "You silly little girl."
He leaned down kissing my lips softly while I was laying down on the bed. "I love you princess." I smiled staring into his eyes. "Your so pretty when you look at me like that." He kissed my lips again his thumb softly brushing over my cheek.
Butterflies filled my stomach from his eyes and compliments. He always knew how to make my heart melt and make me forget all my problems so easily.
"I love you too daddy." I said confidently without stuttering. He smiled at me proudly. "I would buy you the whole world just to show you how proud I am when you achieve talking to me without stuttering."
I dropped his phone on the bed so I could pull his head down to kiss his soft lips. He smiled against my lips pulling away from my lips sitting up on the bed again.
I loved making him smile he barely did it when others were around he always had an emotionless stoic look on his face.
I enjoyed making him smile more than anything else that's why I always tried my best to not stutter when I expressed my love for him. Because it made him smile more than ever and if he did smile it was an evil smile that meant nothing good but disrespect.
"I need to get back to work now. I'll be in my office if you need me be good for daddy. Okay princess?" "O-okay d-daddy." He took my phone leaving me his phone so I could continue my online shopping for Christmas.
"D-daddy!" I called for him before he left our bedroom. "Yes princess." He turned his head to look at me. "C-can y-you s-say I-it a-again b-before y-you l-leave m-me?"
"Say what princess your gonna need to be more specific than that I said a lot of things just now?" He waited for me to respond patiently. "T-that y-you l-love m-me."
He walked over to the bed again leaning down to kiss my cheek, lips and nose. "I love you princess more than the whole world." He repeated for me. I smiled kissing his lips.
"I love you princess but now I really have to get back to work." He straightened back up to his full height again shadowing over me. "O-okay b-bye d-daddy." I kissed his hand quickly before he left me.
I went back to online shopping on Caleb's phone finally. Paying for everything I wanted to get everyone with the card Caleb gave me.
My hands started getting sweaty I was thinking about Caleb too much and it was triggering my separation anxiety. I got up from my bed to go downstairs to go find him.
Even if I tried to just ignore my anxiety of being away from him and just deal with it until it would go away. I would end up in tears or having a panic attack.
Caleb always told me to either call him or just find him to ease my anxiety instead of risking harming myself. I made my way down stairs to his office.
I didn't even bother knocking I just needed to touch him. As soon as I walked into his office I got shy and looked down at my feet standing in the middle of his office.
I gripped the sides of my dress to wipe my sweaty hands on it. He was on the phone with someone I could feel his eyes on me tho. I don't know why I always got so nervous and intimidated by him when he was in his office.
I walked slowly towards his desk with my head down too nervous to look at him. My hands seemed to get sweatier the longer I stayed away from him.
I walked a little faster towards his desk. "Don't come to me with your head down princess I want you to look at me." I picked up my head to look at him with a small blush on my cheeks.
I stood between his legs still not touching him because my hands were sweaty. "What's wrong baby?" He grabbed my arm to hold my hand but I gripped my dress tighter refusing to touch him with my sweaty hands.
"Princess give me your hands your hands are sweaty and shaking because of your anxiety right?" He noticed right away what was wrong with me.
He grabbed my hands slowly keeping eye contact with me to encourage me to let go of my dress and let him touch me.
"I'm here princess there's no need for you to work yourself up like this anymore. Your safe I'm here your touching me see." He showed me our hands were touching.
I slumped my body into his hugging him while he was sitting in his chair and I was standing between his legs. He wrapped his arms around me securely kissing my cheek and neck.
"Daddy's here princess." He picked me up to sit on his lap with my knees on either sides of his legs on his chair so I was straddling him.
"You okay princess? You should have told me to stay in the room if you needed me to stay." I kissed the side of his jaw laying my head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry princess I should have known that you needed me when you kept stalling me from leaving the room." "Y-yeah y-you s-should h-have y-you b-big g-giant m-meanie." He tightened his arms around me kissing my neck once more.
"I know baby. I didn't mean to I'm really busy with work right now my mind is all over the place right now. He explained himself making me feel bad for calling him mean.
"You'll forgive me right princess?" I sat up on his lap staring at him with a teasing smile. "I-I'll f-forgive y-you I-if y-you l-let m-me s-stay I-in h-here w-while y-you w-work." I challenged.
"Deal." He said kissing my nose. "G-good n-now I-I'm g-going t-to t-take a n-nap d-don't s-stop t-touching m-me o-or y-your g-going t-to r-ruin m-my b-beauty s-sleep." I told him sternly making him laugh at how serious I sounded.
"Sleep princess. I'll try my best not to ruin your beauty sleep princess." He pecked my lips a few times before pulling my head down onto his shoulder so I could sleep.
I tightened my fingers on his shirt kissing his neck a few times before I closed my eyes and let sleep consume my thoughts for a few hours.
