Chapter 59. The masquerade party

Caleb POV
"Ace go get your shoes from the room so I can help you put them on." I told him while I was helping Aria zip up her dress that I got her for the masquerade party.

"You look beautiful princess. I know you don't like going to crowded places but we will only be there for a few hours I'll be by your side the whole time. Okay princess?" "O-okay d-daddy." I kissed her forehead while she hugged me.

"Dad I got my shoes." Ace showed me the shoes sitting on our bed so I could put them on for him. I crouched down in front of him putting on his shoes and tying them for him.

"Y-you l-look j-just l-like y-your d-dad n-now." Aria complimented Ace making him smile. We had the same matching black suits with a hint of dark red that matched Arias dress.

"Let's go everyone is already heading to the party now." Ace helped carry the part of Arias dress that was dragging along the floor. While I held her hand so she wouldn't fall down the steps of the stairs.

We got into the car I buckled up Ace quickly before getting in the car so we could leave. "You okay princess?" She nodded her head grabbing my hand to hold while I drove.

                            30 minutes later...

We finally arrived to the party Aaron, Layla and Zane already waiting out front for us by the crowded house. I held Aces hand while Aria wrapped her arm around mine walking with me towards everyone.

We all walked inside the house together Aria instinctively tightened her arm around mine walking closer to me. I knew her anxiety was rising because of all the people in the house.

"Relax princess." I whispered to her. Matteo noticed me from my tallness right away walking towards us. "I always forget your a fucking giant." Matteo said as soon as he walked up to me.

"Don't cuss around my kid Matteo." "My bad. So this is The Ace Blackwood?" He looked down at Ace who was hugging my leg staring at Matteo curiously.

Ace waved at him with a small smile before Zane picked him up to carry him. "I'm already his favorite uncle Matteo go find another one." Zane said making us laugh. "Whatever man he will change his mind and like me better as his favorite uncle then you." Matteo said.

"Yeah you wish." Zane said. "Come sit I got us a private spot." He walked us towards the back we could still see everyone but it was private big enough for all of us to sit and talk.

Aria sat on my lap while Ace sat next to Zane playing games on my phone with Max. "I'm happy you guys could make it I haven't seen you guys in awhile." Matteo said.

"What do you want Matteo? We all know you need something it's the only reason you called us over here." Aaron said getting straight to the point. "You guys seem to know me so well." Matteo said laughing to himself.

"Stop stalling and answer the question. Your wasting my time Matteo. You know I don't like playing your little games." I said getting angry by the second from his annoying ass.

"I think we all know that Caleb you were always a short tempered man." Angelo said sitting next to Matteo. Angelo was Matteo's brother.

"I think his short temper is rubbing off on Aaron too." Matteo said making Angelo look at Aaron. "If you would stop trying to change the subject and acting stupid I wouldn't be mad right now." Aaron responded.

"Quit being an idiot Matteo and tell them what's going on you know they will help your dumbass." Angelo said to Matteo trying to get him to tell us what he needed already.

"Antonino kidnapped my daughter a few weeks ago. He threatened to sell her on the black market to sex traffickers in seven days." Matteo explained to us with tears rolling down his face.

"Did you find out where he's keeping her hostage?" I asked him. "No we can't find him anywhere we tried everything we've been searching for days now and we can't find anything." Angelo answered for him.

"Why didn't you come tell us sooner?" Aaron asked him. "Because I owe you guys big time especially you Caleb. If it weren't for you my whole family would be dead." Matteo replied.

"We will help you find your daughter. But the next time something like this happens I want you to call me right away I don't like being rushed Matteo." I reasoned with him.

"Thank you Caleb you have no idea how much this means to me." "You don't have to thank me yet Matteo. Let us find her first and then you can thank me."

I got up with Aria in my arms "come over to my house tomorrow we will work this out and find your daughter." "Your leaving already?" Angelo asked me.

"Yeah." I responded walking away. "D-daddy a-are y-you g-gonna h-have t-to l-leave m-me?" Aria asked me. "Theres a possibility I will have to princess but don't worry I will come back to you safely I promise." I reassured her.

"I d-don't l-like w-when y-you l-leave m-me d-daddy." She complained to me. "I know baby I don't either but it won't be for long." I kissed her lips to reassure her even more.

I put her inside the car pulling her seatbelt over her to buckle her in. "I h-hope h-he f-finds h-his d-daughter." She said to me. "I know me too princess. He will find her soon enough."

The way she pulled me by the collar of my suit to kiss me made me want to fuck her in the car. "Princess." I tried to pull away from her lips but she pulled me right back kissing me feverishly as if I was leaving her right in this moment.

She slowly pulled away from me when she heard Ace calling for us behind me. "W-why I-is I-it s-so h-hard f-for m-me t-to b-be w-without y-you?" She asked me with teary eyes.

"Don't cry princess. It's hard for me to be without you too." I kissed her lips once more so she wouldn't cry. "I wont be gone for too long princess it'll only be to get his daughter and I'll come back to you before you know it. Daddy loves you so much princess."

I pecked her lips over and over again so she wouldn't cry trying my best to comfort and reassure her. "I l-love y-you t-too d-daddy." She gave me a small warm smile before I closed her door.

I put Ace inside the car buckling him up "I'll see you guys tomorrow morning." I said to Aaron and Zane. They waved goodbye getting in their own cars to leave home for the night.
