Chapter 129. Consequences

Somewhat long chapter just warning you guys sorry. Hope you guys like Aces POV.

Ace POV
"Max!" I called out for him to get his attention as I waited in the hall by his locker for him. He opened his locker putting his backpack inside grabbing his folder so we could go to our class.

We walked into the class room sitting in our regular seats together the teacher still hadn't arrived yet so everyone was just sitting and talking.

The people that my dad let stay in our guest house son named Dominick started going to this school me and Max didn't get along with him at all especially me.

He sat at the table across from us with his group of friends who were obviously only his friends because they wanted some type of popularity. Max and me just ignored him most of the time because it was obvious he only wanted attention.

"Did you practice yesterday?" Max asked me. "Yeah my dad took me to the soccer field. Did you go?" I asked him. "Yeah but-..." he replied but got cut off by Dominick throwing a crumpled up piece of paper at us.

"My bad I didn't mean to h-hit y-you g-guys." He stuttered mocking my moms stuttering problem. I knew he was just doing it to piss me off which it was working because I didn't like anyone talking bad or making fun of my mom.

"Chill Ace I got this." Max told me placing his arm in front of my chest to prevent me from getting up to go fight Dominick. Max threw the crumpled up paper back at him aiming right at his face.

I laughed giving Max a high five for his good aiming. "You definitely practiced yesterday." I told him as I laughed.

"Quiet down class let's get our packets out from last class and finish them up." The teacher Mrs Harris said walking towards her desk. Dominick mean mugged us angrily because he couldn't do anything because the teacher was here.

Me and Max took out our packets from our folders to turn it in because we finished it together yesterday in class together so we could focus on our game today.

"Wait Ace I need the answer to 15." Max whispered to me. I turned my packet to the third page so he could get the answer to question 15.

He wrote down the answer quickly changing it up a little so the teacher wouldn't notice we cheated off each other. "You need anything else?" I asked him before we got up to turn it in to the teacher.

"No that's all thanks." We walked together to the teachers desk. Mrs Harris looked up at us with a bright welcoming smile taking the packets from us.

"Get a treat from the treasure chest for completing the packet and sit down quietly until the lunch bell dismisses you guys." Mrs Harris instructed us.

Me and Max walked towards the huge treasure chest filled with different kinds of candies and chocolates even chips and different healthy snacks.

We quickly got what we wanted from the treasure chest and went back to our seats like Mrs Harris told us to.

                       15 long minutes later....

The bell finally rung for us to go to lunch we both got up and walked out into the hall to go towards the cafeteria. "Hey Max." Mia waved at Max as she walked past us in the hall.

Max had a little crush on her but he didn't want to admit it. "Why didn't you say hi Max?" I nudged his shoulder making him walk sideways a little. "Because she likes Dominick." He responded dryly.

"How do you know?" I asked him confused on how fast things happen in school. "Because she said it during class yesterday when we got separated because we couldn't stop laughing." He explained to me.
