Chapter 54. Staying up

Aria POV
Caleb helped me calm down making sure I didn't have another panic attack because of my nightmare. Layla and Sammy cheered me up making me laugh and forget about the bad dream I had.

They didn't ask me any questions about it because they knew I didn't like talking about it that was only something I was comfortable sharing with Caleb privately.

Ace laid on my lap he was crying because he seen me screaming and crying in the bedroom I felt so bad because he witnessed that. He didn't want to leave my side since Caleb brought me downstairs.

He fell asleep in my lap while I ran my fingers through his hair. "Let me take him in his room princess." Caleb said picking him up from my lap to take him upstairs to his bedroom.

"Let's go home Layla it's getting late and there's going to be a snow storm tonight" Aaron said grabbing Laylas hand while carrying Max who was also sleeping.

Layla waved goodbye to me and Sammy. "We're leaving too bye guys" Earl said. Caleb walked them out the house when he came down the stairs again.

Zane left as well talking to Caleb about something before he left in his own car. I sat on the couch waiting for Caleb to come back in the living room.

I played games on Caleb's phone laying on the couch upside down with my feet hanging over the headrest on the couch. I was too focused on playing subway surfer that I didn't notice Caleb came into the living room.

"Princess put the phone down and sit good I got you some chocolate cake." I was going to ignore him when he said to put the phone down but when I heard him say chocolate cake I put the phone down so fast. 

I sat up properly on the couch ogling the chocolate cake hungrily. He fed me a piece of the cake smiling at me cause of the way I got so happy when I seen the cake.

"W-when d-did y-you b-buy t-this?" I asked him pointing towards the cake he was feeding me. "I went to the store while you were sleeping." He replied feeding me more of the cake.

He picked me up to sit on his lap feeding me the rest of the cake while I watched the movie playing on the tv.

He even bought me a Dr Pepper my favorite soda he let me drink it once I finished eating the chocolate cake. I was going to stay up all night from all this sugar.

"Here I got some candy for you." He handed me sour patch candy and nerds candies. "N-no m-more d-daddy I-it's t-too m-much f-for m-me." I told him putting down the candy on the table.

"Okay if you get tired eat the candy so you can stay up. I don't want you to have another nightmare you've been through enough for today." He kissed my cheek pulling me down from his lap to stand between his legs.

He held my head up with his hands on either side of my cheeks our foreheads touching making me stare up into his eyes. "Your so beautiful." He complimented me making me blush.

He kissed my blushing cheeks pulling me closer into him so I was hugging him instead. "Do you want to have a movie night or a game night?" He asked me. I looked up at him even more happy and excited.

"C-can w-we d-do a g-game n-night b-but a-after c-can w-we w-watch m-movies a-and c-cuddle?" "Anything you want princess." He simply replied making me even happier.

"I w-wanna p-playyyy." I needed a moment to think not knowing what I wanted to do yet. "C-can w-we p-play t-twenty o-one q-questions?" I asked him.

"Go ahead princess ask away whenever your ready." I clapped my hands excitedly getting on the couch sitting crisscrossed on the couch facing Caleb. "F-first q-question. W-whats y-your f-favorite t-thing a-about m-me?"

"Your hair, your smile, the way you blush, your eyes, your small giggles, the way you call me a big giant meanie when I'm mean to you. Do I keep going or is that enough?" He asked making me blush impossibly redder.

"T-that's e-enough." "Did you ever have a boyfriend before you met me?" My eyes widened at his question. "N-no y-you w-were m-my f-first e-everything d-daddy I p-promise." I answered his question happily.

"D-did y-you h-have a g-girlfriend b-before m-meeting m-me?" I asked even tho I knew already. "I wouldn't say girlfriend. But I did have a couple of women in my life who were around but not for long maybe two days the longest." He replied.

"S-so I-I'm t-the l-longest r-relationship y-you've b-been I-in?" "Yes and it's going to stay this way forever and ever and ever your all I want and need your mine and I'm yours." He reassured me sweetly.

"What's your favorite thing about me?" He asked me. "Y-your s-smile, y-your h-honesty, w-when y-you p-praise m-me f-for b-being o-or d-doing s-something g-good, w-when y-you c-call m-me y-your l-little p-princess, y-your g-green e-eyes, o-oh a-and y-your k-kisses."

He laughed softly at me kissing my cheek. "W-what's y-your b-biggest f-fear?" I asked him because he seemed like he wasn't scared or had any fears about anything. "Losing you." He simply answered.

My stomach and heart fluttered happily from his answer. "What's your biggest fears?" He asked despite already knowing most of them. "S-sleeping, t-thunder, l-lightning, E-Elizabeth a-and A-Andrew."

"You don't have to be scared of them anymore their gone. They can't hurt you anymore princess I promise. Your getting better at handling lightning and thunder aren't you princess?"

"Y-yes d-daddy a-all b-because o-of y-you." He smiled at me pulling me into his arms. "I'm so proud of you princess. Your always doing so good for daddy aren't you princess?" I nodded my head smiling at him. "Always making daddy proud from how brave, beautiful and clever you are."

I couldn't take his praises anymore my stomach was fluttering with butterflies making me blush. I hid my blushing face in his neck nibbling on his skin listening to all his praises for me.

"So perfect and beautiful for daddy. I love my little princess so much your always being a good girl for daddy." He brushed through my hair with his fingers kissing my neck and cheek continuously to comfort me.

He was going to stay up all night with me because he knew I was too afraid to go back to sleep. I was very grateful for him he always knew how to make me feel better and happy.
