Chapter 22. Loosing Aria

Aria POV
I stopped trying to fight him to get away afraid he would shoot me. "Listen to me carefully now, come with me willingly if not I will kill your son he's sleeping in his room right now at gun point just like you are now."

I nodded my head no begging him to leave me alone I didn't want to go with him but I couldn't let him hurt Ace. "Just listen to me." He said pushing the gun into my head.

The lights suddenly turned on in the kitchen revealing Zane standing in front of us scaring the man that was holding me at gun point. "Let her go." He told the man. "Not gonna happen who the fuck are you where's Caleb?" The man said angrily.

Caleb and Aaron came from the living room with their guns pointed at the man. "Let her go!" Caleb yelled walking towards us. "Stay back or I'm killing her and your son." He yelled pulling me back slowly walking backwards towards the front door.

"D-don't l-let h-him h-hurt A-Ace p-please!" I begged Caleb Aaron rushed up stairs to go see if Ace was okay. "Put your gun down Caleb and tell him to stay the fuck back." He yelled at Caleb opening the front door practically dragging me outside with him.

Caleb POV
"Let her go you don't know what your getting yourself into." I warned him walking slowly towards them. "That's what you think Caleb but I know exactly who I'm fucking with." He replied darkly.

"Tell them to move out the way so I can leave." He was talking about the security guards standing behind him stopping him from leaving.

I motioned with my hands for them to back away. "I don't think you understand how stupid you are for doing this." Zane said.

"Who are you again cause I don't remember asking you anything." The guy trying to kidnap Aria said. "The Ghost man. Now let go of the fucking girl or I'm going to hunt your whole fuckin family down and bring 'em to Caleb to kill." Zane threatened him.

"Not happening. If I don't leave by 2:00 a.m I'm going to kill Ace." He warned us. "C-Caleb l-let h-him g-go I d-don't w-want h-him t-to h-hurt A-Ace!" Aria screamed she didn't even care that he was about to kidnap her and take her away from me.

She only cared about Ace being safe in this moment. "I can't let him take you away from me Aria." I was on the verge of crying for her. "N-no p-please l-let m-me g-go y-you w-will f-find m-me p-please k-keep A-Ace s-safe." She cried to me.

She had so much trust in me that she was willing to get kidnapped and put her trust in me that I would find her again. "Listen to her Caleb the clock is ticking." He mocked me.

A loud banging noise came from Aces room Zane ran upstairs Aria began to scream immediately after hearing the noise. He dragged Aria down the stairs pushing her inside the car that pulled up quickly.

I ran towards the car trying to open the door to get her out but they drove off I shot at the car popping one of the tires but the car only screeched loudly. I ran inside so I could see if Ace was okay. "Go try to chase them down." I told Jerry and Carson.

"Aaron is hurt he got shot in the leg but Ace is fine." Zane told me calming me down a little. I picked up Ace in my arms bringing him downstairs with me while Zane helped Aaron get downstairs.

"Are you okay Ace did anyone come in your room?" I asked him checking for any wounds. "No I'm fine dad but uncle Aaron isn't." He explained to me completely oblivious about his mother being kidnapped.

"Zane call Dr Ron on my phone to come and help Aaron." I instructed him. "Where's mommy dad?" Ace asked me. How was I suppose to explain to him that his mother just got kidnapped.

I ignored his question. "Go play with Max stay in the living room tho." I told him letting him go play. Layla was frantically wiping Aarons blood trying to stop it from gushing out of his leg while we waited for Ron to arrive.

"Don't worry Layla I'll be fine this is nothing." Aaron told her trying to calm her down. Carson and Jerry came inside the house. "Don't tell me you lost them." I said defeatedly.

"I'm sorry Caleb but it was too late by the time we started driving to catch up they were already gone." Jerry explained. "Jerry if I were you I would start running you too Carson." Zane said being very serious.

I kept my cool because Ace and Max were near us I walked away to go to my office. "Caleb were going to find her please don't do anything stupid." Aaron said knowing the last time I was this angry I went on a killing spree.

"You know I can't control that Aaron." I was talking about the dark side of me the side that only came out when I couldn't control my anger anymore.

That was the most scariest and most dangerous part of me that every single one of them knew to stay away from me.

I didn't know how they were going to be able to get me to come back to my senses all i knew was I needed to get Aria back.

"Zane give me a cigarette." He handed me his whole pack. "Here take em all just don't kill anyone." He said handing me the lighter too.

I slammed my office door closed the chairs I threw against the wall laying in the floor broken with shattered glass. I lit the cigarette putting it in my mouth so I could sip me a cup of whiskey.

I could have saved her I should have just shot him but I couldn't let him hurt Ace this was frustrating to even think about I never thought I would have to choose between saving my wife or my son.

This evil dark side of me I've kept away from Aria and Ace and I still don't want them to ever see me in this state but I was like a ticking bomb if we didn't find Aria soon I was going to kill everyone in sight.

I had no control over this part of me the only way to satisfy the anger building inside of me was when I hurt or killed someone it didn't matter who or where as long as I was causing them pain that's how merciless and ruthless I was.

Zane came inside my office alone he didn't say a word just grabbed a cigarette and sat in the only available chair that I didn't break. "Your one brave man Zane." I said smiling psychotically at him.

"Guess that's why we became friends." He replied returning the same psychotic smile. "You never scared me Caleb I'll make a deal with you." He said almost like he was challenging me. "Spit it out already Zane."

"Take out your anger on me with every punch, stab, whatever. Do what you gotta do just so you can stay sane for a little longer." He reasoned making me smile.

"You sure about this Zane cause I won't be able to stop once I start you might even end up dead." I said standing up.

"I'm willing to take the chance Caleb I'll meet you in your basement." He replied calmly drinking the rest of my whiskey fully going through with this.

I watched him walk out of my office going to the basement he had no idea what torture and pain he was about to feel I almost felt bad for him.
