Chapter 53. I need your love

Caleb POV
"Caleb wake her up. Why isn't she waking up?" Layla asked panicked with tears. Everyone heard her screaming in our bedroom we all rushed inside the room but I couldn't get her to wake up.

"Bring me a cold wet towel!" I shouted to them. She was shaking and crying in her sleep while mumbling incoherent things that none of us could understand.

"Layla calm down Caleb knows what he's doing." Aaron told her while Zane handed me the cold wet towel. I wiped her face with the cold water she began to wake up slowly.

"Wake up princess" I tapped her cheek so she would wake up a little faster. When she looked at me she flinched pushing away from me curling up in a ball "s-stay a-away f-from m-me!" She screamed at me while crying.

I pulled her up into my arms she started to kick her feet screaming and crying for me to let her go. "Y-you h-hurt m-me l-let m-me g-go!" She punched my chest weakly with her fists trying to push me away but I held onto her tighter.

"No baby I would never hurt you; you know that princess." "B-but y-you d-did l-let m-me g-go!" She weakly said through sobs. "No I never hurt you princess it was just a bad dream I promise I didn't hurt you."

She stopped hitting my chest and thrashing around to get out of my arms. "Your awake now look princess if I hurt you Aaron would have been the first one to kill me." She looked around the room still crying while looking at everyone in the room.

She looked back at me staring into my eyes as if she was searching through my eyes for something. She began to cry even more hiding her face in my neck.

"We will wait for you guys downstairs. Don't worry Aria Caleb didn't hurt you it was all a dream" Aaron said to help comfort her before he left downstairs with everyone else.

"Shh I won't hurt you I promise princess." I comforted her trying to stop her from crying. "T-tell m-me y-you l-love m-me p-please d-daddy." She begged as if I broke her heart into a million pieces.

"Look at me princess" I softly said to her. She lifted up her head her cheeks wet with her tears "I love you princess. I will never stop loving you. Your my little princess I will forever and always love you. You have all my love it's only for you princess. I will never hurt or break your heart princess your daddy's precious little princess. Is that enough explaining or do you need me to keep going?"

She nodded her head with unstoppable tears "t-thank y-you I l-love y-you s-so m-much." She hugged me tightly against my chest her tears wetting my shirt. "Don't ever thank me for loving you again princess. Your my world princess you won't ever have to thank me for loving you I will always show you how much I love you."

She nodded her head not being able to respond because of how much she was crying. "Stop crying baby. You don't have to sleep anymore just calm down please I need you to calm down for me princess. I don't like seeing my princess cry."

She snuffled trying her best to stop crying taking deep breaths in and out through her mouth while she was crying a little. She was starting to have a panic attack I could tell by the way she was having trouble breathing.

I picked her up quickly rushing downstairs to take her outside for fresh air. "Breath princess. Breath take deep breaths for me please princess." She started breathing a little better breathing in the cold fresh air from outside.

She was shivering from the cold air but I needed her to breathe. I embraced her with all my warmth to keep her warm as much as I could. "Your okay now. Daddy's got you your safe I promise."

She nodded her head against my chest she was now calm and relaxed breathing normally. I carried her back inside the house upstairs to our bedroom to warm her up.

I laid down on the bed with her on top of me straddling my lap her face hidden in my neck nibbling softly on my skin.

I covered her in the blanket "you don't have to sleep princess. You slept enough I'm so proud of you for sleeping more but I don't want you to feel like you have to sleep all the time. Even if you can only sleep for four hours that's fine i will still be proud of you for trying princess."

I kissed her cheek brushing her hair with my fingers. "W-we h-had t-twin b-boys." She whispered in my ear while nibbling on my neck. "That's what happened in your dream?" She pulled away from my neck staring up at me.

"Mhmm t-they l-looked j-just l-like y-you a-and t-their n-names w-were M-Matt and A-Aiden b-but t-their e-eyes w-were d-different." She explained to me. "What do you mean their eyes were different?"

"L-like o-one e-eye w-was g-green l-like y-yours a-and t-their o-other e-eye w-was b-brown l-like m-mine." She explained to me with a questionable expression. "That's called Heterochromia they were born with two different eyes colors princess it's really rare to have that."

Her questionable expression disappeared after I explained it to her. She stayed quiet but I could tell she wanted to tell me something else. "Take your time princess. Don't be afraid to talk about your nightmares it's good that your telling me about it this will help you through them."

"E-Elizabeth t-told y-you t-to l-lock m-me I-inside t-the b-basement a-and y-you l-listened t-to h-her. Y-you s-slapped m-me a-an-and t-told m-me-..." she took a deep breath her tears returning to her eyes threatening to fall.

"It's okay princess your doing so good for daddy. It was all a dream I promise none of it was real." She nodded her head taking one last deep breathe "y-you t-told m-me y-you d-didn't l-love m-me a-anymore."

A small tear escaped from her eyes as she looked at me. It broke my heart to see her feel this way about something I would never think about saying to her. I pulled her back into my arms laying her head right over my heart on my chest.

"Do you hear my heart beating princess?" I asked her. "Y-yeah." She answered softly. "My heart will only beat for you if I ever tell you or make you feel like I don't love you anymore I will personally stop my heart from beating ever again for hurting you. I didn't allow your own parents or anyone else to hurt you I won't even allow myself to hurt you. You've been through enough you don't deserve to be hurt by me or anyone else anymore you only deserve to be loved and respected like the little princess you are for daddy."

She kissed my lips slowly and passionately with small teardrops on her cheeks. I kissed her back just as slowly and passionately as she was. "I need your love just as much as you need mine princess don't forget that."
