Chapter 56. Calebs birthday

Aria POV
I got up early before Caleb would wake up to make him and Ace some breakfast. I know Caleb didn't like eating in the mornings but today would be an exception.

Ace was already up sitting at the kitchen counter with his toys already eating. I finished making Caleb's plate of food just in time because he was walking into the kitchen with no shirt on only his sweatpants and his messy morning hair.

He sat down at the kitchen counter drinking the orange juice I sipped for myself. "Happy birthday dad." Ace told him smiling at him sweetly. "Thanks Ace." Caleb kissed his head ruffling his hair to make him giggle.

I put his plate of food in front of him he looked up at me ready to say he didn't want it "e-eat I m-made I-it f-for y-your b-birthday." He smiled at me for being so strict with him.

"Mommy I'm done. Can I go watch paw patrol in the living room?" Ace asked me. "S-sure b-baby g-go a-ahead." Ace left the kitchen going into the living room to watch his cartoon.

"I-if y-you d-don't e-eat I-I'm g-going t-to f-feed y-you." I threatened him. He smirked with a small laugh finding this amusing. "W-what's f-funny?" I asked him. "Nothing just come here princess." I walked over to him he sat me on his lap kissing my cheek.

"Thank you princess." He said thanking me for making him breakfast. "Y-your w-welcome d-daddy." I kissed his cheek and lips when he looked at me. He fed me and himself the food that I made for him.

Aaron and Layla walked inside with Earl, Sammy, Lydia, Zane, and Emma. They all wished Caleb a happy birthday. I tried getting up from his lap so Lydia wouldn't get mad but Caleb tightened his grip on my waist preventing me from getting up.

Emma and Lydia came next to him "happy birthday my precious boy." Lydia said to him but he just got up and walked away from her with me in his arms. "D-daddy w-why d-did y-you w-walk a-away l-like t-that?"

"Because she hasn't apologized to you for the way she acted towards you on Aces birthday I'm not letting that go. You deserve to be respected like everyone else your my wife she should respect that but instead she's disrespecting you by trying to get me with some other women."

"O-okay p-please d-don't b-be m-mad o-on y-your b-birthday d-daddy." I didn't care about that I just didn't want Caleb's birthday to be ruined because of some pettiness.

"I won't but if she does anything to you I won't be so nice anymore." I kissed his lips so he would stop thinking about that. "I k-know y-you l-love m-me t-that's a-all t-that m-matters w-who c-cares w-what t-they d-do o-or t-think." I kissed him again before he could respond.

He pushed me back into the wall while he was holding me in his arms kissing me hard taking over the kiss. "If you keep shutting me up like this I'm going to end up fucking you against the wall." He said staring into my eyes promisingly.

He put me down on my feet again kissing my cheek "I'm going to get dressed I'll come downstairs when I'm done." I nodded my head kissing his chest before he walked away.

I went back into the living room Layla and Sammy walked over to me hugging me. "Where's Caleb?" Sammy asked me. "H-he's g-getting d-dressed." She nodded her head.

"Well me and Earl got him a gift it's on the kitchen counter." "O-okay I-I'll t-tell h-him w-when h-he c-comes d-downstairs." We sat down with everyone on the couch watching the movie Aaron put on.

We couldn't do much for Caleb's birthday because it was snowing a lot today so Caleb was fine with watching a movie together. Caleb finally came downstairs picking me up from the couch so he could sit in my spot and make me sit on his lap instead.

"Y-your g-gifts a-are a-all I-in t-the k-kitchen." I whispered to him so I didn't interrupt the movie. "I'll open them when we cut the cake." He said to me kissing my cheek.

3 hours later...

We all watched two movies together. Aaron started a conversation about the movie Caleb talked to everyone else except Emma and Lydia. Every time Lydia would try to say something Caleb would ignore her completely.

I felt bad because she looked so sad when he would ignore her but all she had to do was apologize to me and that seemed to be the hardest thing for her to do.

"Let's go cut the cake." Caleb said to everyone picking me up with him to go in the kitchen. Everyone followed behind us to the kitchen Ace holding Caleb's hand.

Caleb let me down on my feet so I could get his cake out the fridge so he could cut it. I took out the plates and handed him a knife so he could cut it. We all sung happy birthday to him before he cut it Ace was in his lap singing it to him.

Aaron and Zane sprayed silly strings on him while he wasn't looking when he got up from his seat. "Just wait till it's your birthday Aaron I'm going to dunk your head in ice water." He threatened Aaron.

"Don't even try it Zane." He warned him but Zane still sprayed him making all of us laugh. I helped him get the strings off his back and arms while he got the ones on his head and shoulders.

We didn't get everything off but we got most of it off. He started opening everyones gifts that they got for his birthday. He thanked everyone for the gifts except for Emma's and Lydia's gift because he didn't even open them.

"Why are you doing this Caleb?" Lydia asked him. "When you apologize to my wife you won't have to be asking me why I'm doing this. And I don't want or need any gifts from either one of you." He said directed towards Lydia and Emma.

He grabbed my gifts to open them. He opened the bag with the new ties that I got him he smiled to himself looking at each one. "Come here princess." He called me over to him hugging me against his chest.

"Thank you so much princess. How did you know I was running out of my cologne?" He asked me. I smiled at him "I c-can't t-tell y-you m-my s-secret." I answered to him.

He laughed softly kissing my head. We all sat and talked a little more. Lydia and Emma decided to leave feeling unwanted because of the way Caleb was acting towards them.

I sneaked away from everyone Layla being the only one knowing what I was doing. I went upstairs to my bedroom the lingerie set lying on the bed ready for me to put on.
