Chapter 79. Visitor's

Aria POV
After my appointment yesterday Caleb took us home and took off the rest of the day to be with me and Ace.

Today Caleb called me to let me know that some people that want to work for him are coming over to the house in a few minutes.

"Aria you and Ace need to go in the room before Caleb comes home." Jerry said to me. "W-why?" I asked him confused. "It was Calebs orders. He said he would explain to you later." Jerry responded.

"O-okay." I said quietly. I quickly finished cleaning the kitchen and living room a little more even tho Caleb already had the servants clean up the house for us.

I took Ace upstairs with me to my bedroom closing and locking my bedroom. I knew Jerry would be standing outside my bedroom door as extra security.

I kept Ace and myself busy by coloring in our coloring books that Caleb kept safe for me in his nightstand drawer.

I could tell Ace was getting bored with coloring and being stuck in the bedroom with me for what seemed to be hours but was really just 30 minutes now.

"Mommy is dad home yet?" Ace asked me sitting on my lap. "Y-yeah." I replied. "Why can't we go downstairs?" He turned to look at me with curious eyes.

"I d-don't k-know b-baby." He frowned making me feel bad because I didn't have an answer for him. "I miss dad mommy." He said starting to cry. I hugged him feeling bad.

"D-don't c-cry j-just w-wait a l-little m-more." I tried to calm him down. "No I want my dad mommy." He said angrily running to the door.

I got up quickly to stop him but he already unlocked the door and ran past Jerry going down stairs. "A-Ace n-no!" I shouted running after him.

"A-Ace!" He ignored my shouting and kept running towards the living room and dining area.

Jerry was running after us trying to help me get Ace. But Ace was way too fast for the both of us. He ran right into Caleb's lap in the crowded dining room filled with men.

I ran towards Ace to take him away from Caleb. "C-come o-on A-Ace d-daddy h-has t-to w-work." I tried grabbing his arm but he held onto Caleb refusing to leave Caleb.

"I don't wanna go. I want my dad." He adamantly said. "Let's go." Jerry said out of breath from running so much. "It's fine Jerry. They can stay." Caleb told him pulling me into his lap to sit.

"Don't look around. Don't stare at anyone or speak just lay your head on my shoulder and relax." Caleb whispered to me quickly so I wouldn't look around.

I laid my head back on his shoulder holding his hand while I closed my eyes so my eyes wouldn't wander around. He handed Ace his phone to keep him distracted from looking around as well.

"So this is the pretty girl that everyone has been talking about." I heard an old man say to Caleb. "Quit staring at my wife with your filthy fucking eyes Charles. Don't forget where your at I won't hesitate to chop your head off right here." Caleb said angrily.

I scooted into him closer hiding my face in his neck so no one could look at me. I could feel all their eyes on me as I sat on Caleb's lap. "Let us join your mafia we can be powerful together." Charles said to Caleb.

"You rule the Black Widows. I rule the Black Scorpios." Charles said trying to convince Caleb. "How do I know you won't try to back stab me. Your known for betraying everyone you work with." Caleb responded.

"That was a mistake my dad made a long time ago." Another man said sounding much younger. "I don't give a fuck if it happened two decades ago. What you guys think you can just come to my job and then to my house and convince me to work with you guys." Caleb said angrily.
