Chapter 67. Our cuddling conversations

Aria POV
When we got home me and Ace ran upstairs while Caleb got our things from the car. Ace went to put his pjs on and I went to do the same so we could get ready to cuddle with Caleb.

"H-here d-daddy w-we w-will b-be m-matching w-with A-Ace." I handed Caleb the matching pjs I got for us to wear together. We only wore them when we were doing things together like having a movie night, game night, or like today a cuddling night.

Caleb went to change into his pjs in the bathroom while I fixed our bed to be comfortable for all of us. Ace ran in our room jumping on the bed to get under the covers. "It's so cold." He said covering himself quickly.

Caleb got out the bathroom getting in the bed with Ace. Caleb knew he had to lay in the middle of the bed because me Ace liked to sleep next to him as close as possible.

I turned off the main light in the room leaving the small nightlight that Caleb got me and Ace. I joined them in the bed scooting as close as I could into Caleb's body. He wrapped his arm around me and his other around Ace kissing both of our heads.

Ace held my hand that I had laying over Caleb's stomach. "Dad is it normal to feel like you wanna throw up when your not around someone after a long time?" Ace asked Caleb.

"Its not normal but it's okay to feel that way sometimes." Caleb explained to him. "Well I feel that way when I'm not around you and mommy." Ace explained.

"When you feel like that don't be afraid to come tell us Ace. You can always come to us when you need or want to know something." Caleb reassured him.

"I know dad I just wanted to know that's all." Ace replied. "Did you have fun today with Max?" "Yeah it was fun playing in the snow again." Caleb smiled at Ace while he explained everything they did in the snow at Matteo's house.

I laid my head on Caleb's stomach listening to them talk with my eyes closed. I loved when they talked together like this it made me smile just by hearing Caleb talk to Ace in a fatherly way.

Caleb POV
"Dad when I get older do you think I will find a nice girl like mommy?" Ace asked me making me smile. "Sure. I don't see why not you just have to be careful cause a lot of people are good at manipulating you into thinking their good when really their bad." I explained to him.

"How?" Ace asked confused. "You know when mommy first met Lydia. She was so nice and kind to mommy. She made mommy feel like she loved and cared for her she even made me feel like she cared about mommy." He listened to me quietly.

"Lydia is a great example of how good people are good at manipulating others because she looks like a good person from the outside. But no one knows how evil they can actually be on the inside until something happens and reveals their true intentions."

"Why did nonna stop liking mommy?" Ace asked. "Before you were born mommy was going through a lot. So that made mommy give birth to you very early and because of that Lydia thinks mommy isn't good or strong enough."

"I don't like that dad. Mommy is so nice she doesn't deserve that." "I know buddy. But mommies strong she doesn't need anyone else but me and you isn't that right?"

"Yup! Just me, you and my two brothers." Ace said casually. Aria looked up at me then to Ace shocked at what he said. "W-what d-did y-you s-say?" Aria asked Ace. 

"Ace what do you mean your two brothers mommy is pregnant but we don't know if she's having a boy or girl?" I asked him sitting up in the bed. "I know dad. I had a dream and Two boys came to me and told me they were my brothers." He explained to us.

"W-when?" Aria asked him. "Last night. I wanted to tell you this morning that's why I was up so early today." Ace replied to her. "Oh and their names were Matt and Aiden." He added.

Aria looked at me goosebumps rising on my skin because I remembered Aria telling me those same exact names when she woke up from that horrible nightmare she had.

"Are you okay mom?" Ace asked her because of how quiet she got. "I-I'm f-fine A-Ace." She replied still looking at me with a shocked expression.

Ace started to laugh at her. He could tell she was shocked by what he said but he was too young to understand why she was reacting this way. "Mommy looks so funny look at her eyes dad." He laughed.

"She's being a silly little princess today." I said trying to change the subject to ease her mind about what Ace said. I knew she was having a million thoughts going through her head right now about what she dreamed and what Ace said.

I was shocked and curious too but I didn't want to make Ace upset if we told him that his dream was weird and scary in a way. I pulled her and Ace closer into my arms kissing both of their heads.

"Don't worry princess we'll talk about this tomorrow." I whispered to her so Ace wouldn't hear me. "O-okay d-daddy." She whispered back hiding her face in my neck.

"Let's go to bed now." I laid down on the bed again. Aria kept her face hidden in my neck while Ace cuddled into my arms as close as possible like Aria would do.

They both held each other's hands over my stomach while hogging my body as much as they could. "Goodnight mom. Goodnight dad." Ace mumbled softly against my chest.

"G-goodnight A-Ace." Aria mumbled back to him. I kissed Aces head making sure he was covered in the blanket. "G-goodnight d-daddy." Aria whispered in my ear nibbling on my neck to help her fall asleep.

"Goodnight princess. I love you both so much." Aria kissed my neck quickly nibbling on my neck again. This was the weirdest thing that had ever happened when we had a conversation with Ace.

I had so many questions going through my mind. Could Aria really be carrying my twins? Were they meant to be named Matt and Aiden? Was this just weird dreams that somehow just got connected by Ace and Aria?

When Aria first told me about her dream about the two boys I didn't think much about it until now. I still didn't know how to react I was just calm like this was the most natural thing I've ever heard of.

I was happy I would be happy if Aria was carrying my twins. That would be the greatest and happiest news I would ever get if she was having twins. I just hope it doesn't freak her out as much as it probably is now.
