Chapter 20. The unknown number

Caleb POV
I tried calling the number back but it would go straight to voicemail. "Call Sage and Carson tell them to come here." I told Aaron. The phone began to ring with the number everyone went quiet while I answered the call.

A man using some kind of background voice to change his voice answered the phone. I stayed quiet wanting to know who this was and what they wanted. "Ariaaa or should I call you princess like Caleb does. Don't be shy answer the phone."

Aria had tear filling her eyes as she listened to the phone call. "It's okay little Flower we will meet soon." He said hanging up the call. "Do you know who this man is princess?" I asked her needing to make sure but I knew she didn't.

She nodded her head no her tears rushing down her cheeks she quickly walked towards me crying in my arms shaking in fear. "I d-don't w-want t-to m-meet h-him p-please d-don't l-let h-him f-find m-me." She cried in my chest.

"Shh I'm not letting anyone take you away from me. I'll figure out who this is. I won't let anyone hurt you princess I promise." I reassured her even tho I didn't know if I was going to be able to figure this out.

"Don't cry princess." I wiped her tears kissing her cheek to help comfort her a little more. She hid her face in my neck holding onto me squeezing my shirt like she was afraid I was going to let her go.

I could feel my anger rising the call replaying in my head I had so many questions racing through my mind. How did he know her name? Who was this man? What did he want from my family? Why was he calling Arias phone?

I banged my fish on my desk angrily not being able to hold it back making Aria flinch in my arms from the sudden noise. "Dad is mommy okay? Why is she crying?" Ace asked coming towards me and Aria.

She got up from my lap picking up Ace in her arms. "I-I'm f-fine A-Ace m-mommy's j-just t-tired." She lied to him. "Wanna go take a nap with me mom?" He asked her sweetly. She nodded her head more tear rushing down her cheeks as she looked at me.

I watched her fake a smile to reassure Ace then walk out my office to go in the room with Ace. Sage and Carson walked inside my office with concerned expressions. "What's wrong with Aria?" Sage asked me.

Zane turned on the recording of the conversation from the phone. "I'm so sorry Caleb." Sage apologized. "Why are you apologizing? Do you know something about this guy?" I asked her angrily.

"No sir I'm sorry I was just trying to make you feel better." She said almost speechlessly. "Make me feel better?" I asked almost laughing at her stupid comment.

"Do me a favor Sage matter of fact all of you get the fuck out of my office." I said dangerously calm.

Aaron POV
We all walked out of his office not knowing how to help him and Aria get through this. We all listened to him smashing and breaking everything in his office angrily.

It was better him breaking thing in his office then him killing one of us instead. "Layla go check on Aria don't come downstairs with any of the kids." She nodded her head quickly going upstairs with Max.

"Sage you and Carson try to track down the number once this asshole calls again I have a feeling he's going to call again." They both set up everything they needed to be prepared for the next call.

"I haven't seen him get this angry in awhile." Zane commented. "He hasn't done this in awhile since he met Aria." I explained to him. We sat at the kitchen counter waiting for Caleb to calm down and the next phone call.

2 hours later...
We heard the sound of the phone ringing in Caleb's office he stormed out of his office handing Carson the phone to answer and track.

"Let me hear your voice little flower." He said through the phone thinking Aria answered the phone. I knew it was hard for Caleb to listen to this and stay silent when he was talking about Aria.

We had to stay silent because if we did say anything we would probably mess up our only chance of figuring out who this was.

"I'm coming for you soon little flower you will be mine forever." He said you could hear the smile in his voice. I quickly hung up the phone noticing that pissed Caleb off. "Did you find a location?" I asked Sage.

"No it looks like he's using a burner to call her phone." Carson answered for her. "Fucking smart bastard." Caleb cursed furiously. "He's going to call in two hours again." I said noticing the pattern he created.

"He only says two sentences and then he hangs up why is he doing everything in twos?" Zane said noticing the same thing I was.

"This guy is smart and weird were dealing with someone who's been in the mafia or some other kind of organization because he knows too much." Sage added.

"Could it be someone that's been involved with you guys?" Zane suggested. "No the only ones that I can think of is the Red Wing gang that helped Elizabeth and Andrew escape." Caleb walked away from us going outside for fresh air.

Me and Zane followed him outside Zane handed him a cigarette and me but I refused while Caleb took it.

"Man do I feel bad for who ever this man is cause I know when you get your hands on him your going to bring hell to him." Zane spoke to Caleb.

"This is Silas brother I know it is. Before I finished killing Silas he warned me that his brother had something planned for Aria." Caleb explained to us.

"I know exactly why he's doing this too." Caleb added smiling psychotically. "Why?" Zane asked. "Because he's jealous I was given the throne to the Black Widows." He answered.

He laughed to himself while smoking the cigarette Zane gave him. "I may not know where he is right now but I'm going to find out and when I do I'm going to skin him alive just like I told Silas before he died."

Zane smiled to himself knowing Caleb's threats were real we both knew Caleb's dark side was coming out and it wasn't going to be safe for anyone including us. Because one little fuck up would set him off we either end up injured by him or dead.

You were lucky if you ended up only injured by him because his anger was at another level when his dark side came out. I know because he almost killed me once when we lived in London.

Caleb was someone who was not to be played with and a lot of people didn't understand that until it was too late just like Silas and now his brother who will find out soon enough when we figure out where he is.
