Chapter 75. Lunch drop off

Aria POV
After what happened yesterday with Dr Sanchez and Dr Ron with Caleb everything went smoothly for the rest of the day. We made an appointment with Ron to see how long I've been pregnant now.

The appointment wasn't until next week. Caleb has been busy with work. I barely got to see him today and the rest of yesterday after Dr Sanchez and Dr Ron left.

Me and Ace watched movies together or he would help me in the kitchen to cook something so we weren't bored all day.

"Mommy give him some chocolate too." Ace said. We were making Caleb lunch so he could eat something. He was at his office we were going to take it to him.

"C-come o-on b-baby s-so w-were n-not l-late." I picked him up from the counter carrying him in my arms with Caleb's lunch bag.

We got in the car with Jerry so he could take us to Caleb's job. Caleb wouldn't allow me to go on my own without a bodyguard so he made Jerry my personal bodyguard and driver.

Caleb POV
"Come in." Aaron walked inside my office towards my desk. "Here's the files I finished. I need a new assistant Layla doesn't like because it's a woman assisting me." I started to laugh.

"Well what are you waiting for fire her already." I said laughing at him. "I already did she's crying in her office right now because she needed this job." He explained to me.

"Tell her to come here I'll give her another job somewhere else get Zane to be your assistant or Zack." "Thanks Caleb i'll tell her to come now." I nodded my head opening the files he brought me.

I checked over the file to make sure all the numbers were correctly matched with my file. I heard a small knock on my door again. "Come in." Aaron's assistant Jasmine came inside my office crying.

"You asked to see me sir." She said weakly from crying. "Sit down Jasmine." She nodded her head refusing to sit. "I'm fine sir I need to finish packing my things." She responded.

"Finish packing your things I'll transfer you to another department to work in this building your not fired. Just calm down I can't have a crying employee walking in my building."

She looked up at me happy and shocked by what I said. "Thank you so much sir. I really need this job." She started walking over to me to hug me.

"Don't touch me Jasmine I understand your happy right now but hugging me is unnecessary let's keep this professional. Just stop crying and go finish packing your things. Carson will help you find your new office."

She took steps back away from me looking away from me embarrassed but a little smile still on her face because of how thankful she was.

"I'm sorry sir thank you so much." "Your welcome go now your wasting my time and you need to get your work done by 5." She hurriedly walked out my office so she wouldn't disturb me any further.

I called Carson to let him know that he needed to help Jasmine find her new office. I continued going over other files from Zack and Zane's work to make sure they did everything right before we submitted them.

I heard another knock on my office door. "Come in." I said getting frustrated with all the disturbances until I heard Aria and Ace giggling when they walked into my office.

Ace ran towards me hugging me. Jerry closed the door when Aria walked inside with my lunch in her hands. "We missed you dad. I seen uncle Zane and Aaron." Ace said to me.

"I bet they were happy to see you weren't they?" I asked him kissing his head before I ruffled his hair messily. "Yup Zane told me to ask you if I can go to his office before we leave again?"

"You don't wanna eat lunch with me and mommy?" I asked him. "I do but I wanna hang out with uncle Zane too." He explained smiling at me and Aria to get our permission.

"Fine go but tomorrow you have to have lunch with me and mommy." I told him strictly so he knew I was being serious. "Okay dad I promise." He hugged me again quickly and then Aria.

"Don't run down these halls Ace." I said to him before he left. "I know dad. No running." He said before leaving my office leaving just me and Aria in my office now.

A small blush formed on her cheeks whenever she looked at me struggling to keep eye contact with me. "How long are you thinking about standing there and making me wait for my kiss and hug princess?" I asked her.

She walked over to me timidly avoiding my eyes because apparently my eyes made her too nervous to look at me. She moved my files and papers to the side so she could put my food on the desk for me so I could eat.

I stopped her from taking out the food turning her around to face me pulling her between my legs until she was face to face with me and our lips were almost touching.

Her lips parted slightly as she looked at me. I brushed away the few strands of hair that were in her face. "Kiss me." She blushed even more. "I need you to kiss me princess I miss you."

I looked down at her parted lips then back up to her eyes again. She leaned forward a little more until our lips were touching kissing me slowly and softly.

I let her have control over the kiss for a few more seconds before i cupped her cheeks with both of my hands on either side of her head kissing her lips harder.

"Princess I didn't ask now eat or I'm going to punish you. I'm not stupid just because I've been busy doesn't mean I haven't noticed how little you've been eating lately."

She opened her mouth eating the food off my fork that I was trying to feed her. "You need to start eating princess. I know you don't like eating without me but I need you to eat at least a snack or something until I get home. I don't want you to starve yourself baby."

"I-I'll t-try f-for y-you d-daddy. I-I'm s-sorry." "Don't apologize you did nothing wrong baby. I'm proud of you either way but I do want you to eat a little more." I kissed her cheek feeding her more food to eat with me.
