Aria POV
Me, Layla, Sammy, and Abby were going to the park with the kids that was down the street from my house. It was weird because it was starting to get late and it was freezing outside.Honestly all of the girls were acting weird for some odd reason almost like they were hiding something from me but they were acting clueless.
I asked Layla a few times if something was wrong or if I was missing something because of the weird ways they were all acting but she denied it every time.
I gave up and just followed along with them to the park with Ace. Caleb didn't want to come which was weird to me too because I never had to ask him to come with me somewhere he would just come on his own.
He claimed he wanted to play pool with the boys which was fine but I knew he would much rather spend time with me and Ace instead.
We sat at one of the tables watching the kids play in the snow around the playground. I didn't like how they were acting so weird it was making me feel uneasy like I did something wrong.
"A-are y-you g-guys u-upset w-with m-me?" I asked them worriedly. "No I'm not upset with you Aria." Sammy said. "Me either." Layla replied. "Me three." Abby said making me smile in relief that they weren't upset with me.
But I still felt like they knew something I didn't and were hiding it from me. I knew if I asked them again what they were keeping from me they would lie again and say it was nothing so I just stayed quiet keeping a close eye on Ace playing.
"Aria." I heard Aaron call for me with Zane walking up to us. I looked at him to see what he wanted. "Caleb needs you I'll watch Ace you go." I got up from my seat to start walking back home from the park.
"T-thank y-you A-Aaron." He smiled watching me walk out on the side walk to go back home. The sun was slowly starting to set and it was starting to get even colder outside.
I didn't understand why the girls wanted to go to the park so late with the kids so suddenly. They were all acting peculiar even Caleb and it was starting to ruin my mood.
I shivered from the cold crisp breeze blowing through my small sweater I should have took Caleb's hoodie instead of this small sweater.
I finally made it to the house Jerry and Carson were standing outside with a few other guards around the house. "Hi Aria." Jerry greeted me. "H-hi g-guys." I waved to them before walking inside of the house.
The house was nice and warm but all the lights were off except the one outside. "D-daddy." I called for him walking into the kitchen to look for him.
I went to turn on the light in the kitchen but then I got frightened by the sound of Caleb's voice. "Don't turn on the lights I got you." He grabbed my hand guiding me through the kitchen into the dining room.
My jaw dropped at the scenery in front of me. There were lit up candles on the table with fresh cooked food that smelled amazing. "Sit princess." He pulled my chair out so I could sit down.
"I'll be right back." I nodded my head staring at the beautiful flowers he put in a vase for me in the center of the table.
I picked up the vase bringing it closer to me so I could smell the beautiful flowers. They smelled amazing but it was too sensitive for my nose I quickly put the vase down so I wouldn't get nauseous and end up having to throw up.
He came back into the dining room with a bowl of pickles for me. I smiled at him sweetly loving how he was so used to me having an obsession for pickles since I was first pregnant with Ace.
"T-this I-is w-why y-you g-guys w-were a-acting w-weird." He smiled softly kissing my hand. "We haven't had a date night in awhile so I did what I had to do to make my beautiful little princess feel special and appreciated."
