Chapter 32. Playful times

Aria POV
When Caleb got inside the car he immediately knew something was wrong with me without even questioning it he pulled me into his lap in the driver's seat. "Talk to me princess." He said softly to me.

"I d-don't t-think Z-Zane's s-sister l-likes m-me I-I d-don't l-like t-that f-feeling." I explained to him.  "It's okay princess she doesn't have to like you it's better for me I get to have you more to myself." He said making me laugh.

"Yeah me too mommy." Ace agreed. "See princess we love you more than anyone else no one can beat that." He smiled at me kissing my cheek. "I'm sorry you felt like that princess." He apologized kissing my lips gently.

"I-I'm o-okay n-now d-don't w-worry." I told him kissing his lips this time. He put me back in my seat helping me buckle up so we could leave.

He drove us all the way back home the whole 20 minutes. When we got to the house I went upstairs so I could call Layla because I missed her.

"Hey Aria!" She said excitedly. "A-are y-you b-busy?" I asked her wanting to make sure she had time to talk.

"I'm not busy I miss you." She told me. "I m-miss y-you t-too L-Layla I w-wish y-you c-came w-with u-us." I explained to her. "Me too but it's okay we'll be coming in three days." She said to make us both feel better.

"What happened at Zane's house? Did you meet his sister?" She asked curiously. I began to explain everything that happened today at their house how she acted towards me and Ace.

Caleb POV
I knew Zane's sister was making Aria feel unwanted and uncomfortable that's why I left their house not liking how she was making Aria feel.

Ace was playing in his room with some of his toys. "If you need me Ace or mommy we'll be in the room okay." I let him know. "Okay dad." He replied before I went into my bedroom.

I noticed Aria was on FaceTime with Layla talking to her about anything and everything. "H-here c-comes t-the b-big g-giant." Aria teased me facing the phone towards me to show Aaron and Layla.

"Caleb did you grow another inch or two you look even taller on camera?" Aaron asked being sarcastic. "Your so funny Aaron your just mad because Zane calls you an ant for being shorter than him."

"I'm not even short I'm literally two inches shorter than him." He explained himself. "Don't tell me tell that to Zane." I replied laughing at him. "Your such an ass Caleb you know that." He argued.

"S-stop b-being m-mean t-to h-him C-Caleb y-your a-always b-being m-mean t-to s-someone."Aria defended Aaron.

"I have to be mean to someone princess I haven't been mean to you in a while I don't think you want that to happen now do you?" I teased her challenging her.

"G-go b-back t-to b-bed y-you b-big g-giant." She argued fake pouting at me angrily. "I'm not tired yet princess." Aaron and Layla began to laugh at us through the phone.

"We will talk to you guys later. Leave Aria alone Caleb don't be mean to her you freaking giant." Aaron said quickly hanging up after his last sentence. "Look whose being the mean one now I know you heard what he said."

She began to laugh at me. "T-that's w-what y-you g-get." She teased me. She quickly noticed that I was about to tickle her all over until she was a laughing mess. "N-no!" She screamed before I started tickling her.

"Leave mommy alone you big giant." Ace said hitting me with a pillow to push me away from Aria. "Now you wanna call me a big giant too." He tried to run away from me but I already picked him up laying him on the bed tickling him and Aria now.

Both of them were now wiggling around on the bed to get away from me laughing up a storm barely being able to catch their breath from laughter. I stopped tickling them giving them a break to catch their breaths.

"Y-your s-so m-mean." Aria pouted hugging Ace to protect him from me. "It's okay mommy I'll protect us." Ace said standing up on the bed with a pillow in his hands.

"You sure you can handle me little boy." I teased him. "Hey! I'm not little I'm a big boy." He got angry smacking me with the pillow with little force because of how little he was.

"You sure look like a little boy to me." I argued making him angry. "B-beat h-him u-up s-show h-him h-how b-big a-and s-strong y-you a-are." Aria encouraged him.

I let him beat me up with the pillow fake crying and pleading him to let me go so he would think he won.

"There mommy now daddy won't be mean to you right dad?" He asked me. "Maybe." I shrugged my shoulders kissing his head before I ruffled his hair.

"C-come o-on A-Ace l-let's g-go c-color w-without h-him." He got down from the bed grabbing her hand.

"I wanna color too." I offensively said they both stuck their tongues out at me before running out the room together. "I'm gonna get you both for that now!" I shouted for them to hear.

I could hear them running downstairs I gave them a moment to hide. "You guys better be hiding by now I'm coming to get you!" I said while walking down the stairs cautiously and quietly.

I looked around in the living room looking behind the couch, and under the table for them but they weren't there. "I'm coming for you both." I said slowly to create suspense to make them nervous.

I went into the kitchen looking in all the cabinet knowing they were small enough to fit in there to hide. When I got near the pantry door they both ran out laughing loudly. "I'm going to get you both now."

They ran in circles around the living room and the kitchen. I ran quickly towards them making them run faster from me so I wouldn't catch them. I quickly caught up to Ace picking him up in the air.

"No you got me!" He laughed defeatedly while I tickled him all over again like I did in the room. I put him down to sit on the couch while I went to catch Aria. "Mommy don't let him catch you!" He shouted to her while she stood in the kitchen.

"Mommy run!" Ace shouted she ran in the opposite direction of me running into the living room again. I was getting close behind as I chased her she tried running faster but I quickly caught up to her.

"Run faster mommy he's gonna get you!" Ace encouraged her standing on the sofa watching me chase her. I grabbed her by her arm stopping her from running from me any further. I tickled and littered her face with kisses making her laugh just like Ace did. 

"S-stop." She laughed again not being able to control her laughter. "Apologize and I'll stop." I continued tickling her. "I-I'm s-sorry!" She shouted laughing more.

I stopped tickling her kissing her lips quickly before I pulled away from her. Ace hugged her smiling at me.

"Can we go hide again and you look for us again dad?" He asked me. "Go you guys have 20 seconds to hide." They both ran away quickly so I could come looking for them again.
