Trigger Warning: S. A in flashback

I've been on the farm for a few days already, and I must say it's nice to finally have a family. Weird, but still nice. It's almost as though no time has passed for me and Glenn, we're still two peas in a pod. I've gotten closer with Lori, Carl, and my Father. Lori is just happy that I'm here, and alive. Carl is excited because he now has a sibling. My father is mostly just happy that I'm alive. However he still looks at me like I'm some fragile little eight year old girl. I understand, I do. We haven't seen each other in fourteen years, of course he's still going to see me that way. I need to show him, that I am so much more.

Daryl has been more civil towards me lately. Maybe because we share a tent, but also maybe I have started to grow on him. He still feels the need to call me Princess though, which does irritate me. I'm anything but a princess. However there are worse things he could call me so I'll just deal with it.

My father told me how before all of this Shane or as I love to call him Captain Unstable, was his best friend. They were cops together, and also partners. Hearing this information should make me want to be friendly with him. My family sees him as their family, but there's a strange vibe I get off the guy. I can't quite place it, but I can just tell he's not a good guy. Maybe he was at one point, but certainly not anymore.

Early this morning we were all sitting around a fire that we used to make some breakfast for ourselves. I was sitting next to Glenn. Glenn gave me the guitar Dale had gifted to him, because I actually know how to play. As I was strumming it, I noticed Glenn was shaking, he was nervous about something. "Hey Beast-Boy, you alright?"

"Still going to call me that? After all these years?" He let out a slight laugh before getting nervous again. "I'm fine. I just have to tell the group something."

"What's going on?"

"I found out something important. I promised Maggie I wouldn't tell. I think I need to though." Glenn still visibly shaking.

"It's that serious?" Glenn nodded. "Then of course you need to tell all of us. Whatever it is we'll face it together."

"I know. Thanks Starfire, you always know what to say." I laughed at his use of my nickname. We started calling each other by these nicknames shortly after we met. On Halloween I had dressed up as Starfire, and he had dressed up as Beast-Boy. We didn't plan our outfits to match, it was just a fun coincidence. However the nicknames stuck because the characters actually fit our personalities. He has always been bubbly, outgoing, and a bit of a foodie. Where I, in his words 'am a cute tiny thing, but don't want to get in my way if I start to rage.' I knew that was true, especially now in the apocalypse. I've met a lot of unsavory people, who think because I'm small and cute, that I can't pack a punch. They all learned their lesson though.

Glenn stood up and tried to get everybody's attention. He was failing miserably however. He was so nervous, he usually isn't like this. Usually if he wants to say something he'll take control of the conversation, but right now he's doing the exact opposite. Whatever he needs to tell us must be important. Glenn tried one more time to get their attention. "Hey guys?"

Nobody paid attention to him, it was starting to get on my nerves. I finally spoke up. "Guys!" Everybody's heads whipped towards me. I gave Glenn a tiny smirk. "That is how you command a room, now say your piece."

Everyone was now looking at Glenn, and I think it made him more nervous. However now that everybody knows he has news, he can't keep it a secret anymore. He needs to let it out. "Ummm.." Glenn paused for a second to take a deep breath. "So...." He looked at me and I moved my finger in a spiral, to let him know to get on with it. We do not have all damn day. "There's walkers in the barn"
