WARNING: SMUT
Two Months Later
Things went back to normal in the past two months. Well, as normal as they could be. Zombies are still running around trying to make any of those still alive into thanksgiving dinner.
I have finally started to feel completely safe again after Hudson's last reign of terror over me. Now that he is literally behind bars and locked up, I know he can't hurt me or or my family ever again.
We still haven't found the Governor, but most of us believe that if he were out there we would've found him by now. I mean, it's been almost a whole year of searching. Daryl decided to stop looking for him about a month ago. However Merle and Michonne are still out looking. They believe that he is still out there and plotting his next move against us.
I'm not entirely sure what I believe. Part of me still hopes he's out there just so I can end him myself. He most likely is gone though, which is a good thing for us. It means that he won't be coming back to bother us, and that is what I really hope for. After how many people I have killed, I really don't want to be the reason for another person's life ending. But the Governor is an acception to that.
I've started going on less runs. I still go, just not as often. Each of us council members have our own specific role we play.
Hershel is the head of our council and our main doctor, we did find one other doctor though so at least he's not the only one with medical training anymore. He has been teaching a few people some things though. In this world it's just as important to know how to heal yourself as it is to know how to protect yourself.
Sasha is still in charge of our runs. She hand picks who goes out from everybody who volunteers. However if Glenn or I ever want to go, she lets us. She never tells us no because she knows we are the best runners here.
Daryl is our main hunter. He'll bring Merle, the kids, or I with him though whenever he goes. Other people ask to go with him, but he refuses. If he's forced to bring someone with him, he'd rather bring someone who isn't going to annoy the living shit out of him. I mean I do that, but that's kinda my job as his wife.
Michonne's responsibility was making sure that people know how to defend themselves. To make sure that they can fight if they need to. However since she's been spending most of her time looking for the Governor, I've taken over that task along with my own.
Glenn is now in charge of watch. He sets up the schedules, and only lets people on watch if he trusts them, and knows they won't screw around. Even though that's exactly what he does with Maggie whenever they're on watch together.
T-Dog is in charge of weapons. After Everything that happened with Hudson, a new rule was instated that nobody can carry weapons except for us council members, unless they are currently training or outside the fences. I personally keep track of my kids weapons though, just incase they are ever needed.
Along with being saddled with training our community whenever Michonne is gone which is a lot. I am also responsible for the kids of our booming neighborhood. That includes teaching them and basically just being there for them like a glorified high school guidance counselor. I doubted that I was the best one for this responsibility, but apparently 'I have a way with kids.' Those were Hershel's words at least.
However there are some things I teach them that most of the council disagreed with. So I do it secretly. I teach them how to use weapon's in our free time. Just because they are kids doesn't mean they shouldn't know how to defend themselves. They don't get that luxury when we have creatures outside our fences every day longing to taste our flesh.
