Negan brought Carl, Sophia, and I into his bedroom to have a meeting of sorts. Negan and I sat on a couch across  from my daughter and Carl. Negan pulled me close to him on the couch so I practically sitting on his lap while talking to the kids.

"Are all those women actually your-" Carl started but couldn't finish his sentence.

"Wives? Yeah.." Negan answered him. "I always wanted to screw a whole bunch of different women. I mean, why settle for just one? Why follow the same old rules? Why not make life better?"

"Better for who?" I mumbled.

"For us, Firecracker." Negan smirked at me before facing the kids again. "Speaking of... Let's get started."

"Started with what?" Sophia groaned.

"I want to get to know you two a little better." Negan answered.

"Why?" Carl questioned.

"Work it out." Negan told him. "You two are smart. In fact, I'm gonna tell you just how smart both of you are, in case y'all don't already know. See I'd expect a kid your age to be moping around, not doing a damn thing, except crying about missing the prom. But you two go on a mission. You find me, Kill four of my men, two each.. You're smart enough to know that I'm not gonna let this slide."

They did what!? What the fuck were they thinking?! They could've gotten killed!

Negan then started laughing while staring at Carl. "I can't do it. It's like talking to a birthday present. You got to take that crap off your face. I want to see what grandma got me."

"No." Carl argued.

"Four men!" Negan screamed at my brother. "Four... Men.... punishment."

"Negan! He could get an infection!" I yelled at him.

"You don't need to take it off, Baby..." Sophia tried comforting Carl.

"Do you really wanna piss me off?" Negan said directly to me.

"I don't want my brother to get an infection! He could die." I yelled at Negan. "Please."

"No." He then grabbed a hand gun and pointed it at Sophia while looking at Carl. "Take it off."

My eyes widened when I saw the gun pointed at my daughter. "Negan..."

"Take, it off kid.." Negan warned my brother. Carl looked at Sophia sadly before taking off his hat and handing it to her. Negan lowered his gun when Carl started unwrapping himself. "Get that hair out of your face. Let me see."

Carl was already starting to form tears in his eye. I know how self conscious he is about his missing eye. I looked at him and tried to give him a reassuring smile while Sophia grabbed his hand.

"Christ! That is disgusting! No wonder you cover that up. Have you seen it? I mean have you looked in the mirror? That is gross as hell. I can see your socket." I was shaking with rage at Negan's words. My father, Soph, and I have spent so much time convincing Carl that he isn't hideous because of this, and here Negan comes, undoing all that progress we made. "I want to touch it."

"No!" Sophia yelled.

"Absolutely not!" I told Negan. "What you have already done to him is enough!" I stood up from my spot and knelt down on the ground in front of Carl, not at all caring about what Negan thinks. "Carl, look at me." My brother continued to look down. "Buddy, please." He finally turned to me. "This does not define you, do you understand me. You are not some kid with a fucked up face. You are so much more than that. I'm so sorry.."
