Dad, Daryl, and I are all on our way to one of Negan's bigger outposts, with a bunch of people from Alexandria following us. The plan is for the Alexandrians to start the war outside while Dad, Daryl, and I sneak inside of this compound.

After the Alexandrians started shooting in the back of the building, Daryl, Dad and I waited a few minutes before taking out both guards of this abandoned insurance building, and sneaking in. A few Alexandrians came with us, but most of our troops are outside.

As we walked in, the lower level seemed empty so Dad told the Alexandrians who snuck into the building with us to give us a signal if people are in here, or come back in. When it was just Daryl, Dad and I alone again, Daryl spoke to get us moving again. "Come on. Let's find them guns."

I went with Daryl to make sure this area is clear while Dad went the opposite way. It didn't take long since this level of the building was actually as clear as it seemed.

When Daryl and I went back to the lobby where my father told us to meet, we were met with my father's gun raised at us. "Damn, we surrender." I told my father while smirking and playfully raising my arms.

He lowered his gun once he realized it was just me and my husband. Dad had been looking at the small mini map Dwight drew out for him of this place.

"Ain't on this floor." Daryl told my father about the guns we were hoping to find here.

"Only option is up." Dad stated.

"High ground." Daryl agreed with my dad. "Good cover."

"Yeah, I'd put them up there, too." Dad nodded.

"Are we even sure they're here?" I asked making both men stare at me. "I'm not saying the guns aren't here, but wouldn't more people have stayed in the building if they were to protect them? Or wouldn't we hear them being used on our people, right now? Those are some pretty powerful weapons. They could take our people out in seconds."

"They're here." My father tried assuring me. "They gotta be here. Maybe they do have people upstairs protecting them."

"Alright." I nodded and sighed. "I'm just saying that I have a strange feeling that if the guns were here, we would have seen or heard them by now."

Daryl pointed to a door next to us that is blocking the stairwell. "Stairs." Is all he said before attempting to kick the door down.

After watching Daryl attempt to kick the door open for a minute, I cleared my throat making Dad and Daryl look at me again. This time I didn't say anything as I pointed to both of them and motioned for them to follow me.

I led them to an elevator shaft and held my hand out in front of it like a magician would do once their magic trick is done. "Ta-da." Both men looked at each other then me.

"Ya knew this was here?" Daryl questioned me.

"Yeah, I saw it when we were clearing this level." I shrugged my shoulders while answering my husbands question. "Is your eyesight going bad in your old age, Dare? Should I be worried? We both passed this you know."

"Shut the hell up." Daryl grunted at me, trying not to show me that he found my comment humorous. "Why didn't ya say nothin' bout it earlier?"

"Simple..." I smirked. "Watching you beat the shit out of that door was entertaining." I laughed. "But then I felt bad when the door was starting to win the fight."

"It wasn't winnin'." I heard Daryl mumble.

"Sure it wasn't, Baby.." I laughed before motioning  for the men to go up the elevator shaft first. Daryl was the first one to go, probably so he could stop thinking about the door he couldn't manage to kick his way past.
