Nora's POV:

When I opened my eyes I was expecting to be in more pain. I had just fallen off a blown up bridge with my father, so the fact that I am in zero pain is strange. Nice, but strange.

I was about to get up but after turning my head to the side, I saw something that froze me in place. A family picture. It was a picture of Dad, Lori, Carl, and I. The part that confused me is that I don't have any pictures of all of us together because we all met after the world went to shit.

I slowly sat up in the bed and let my eyes flow across the room in my curious and confused state.

The walls were painted dark blue with white constellations painted on top. There were more pictures of me and my family lined up on the walls. Some pictures were of the whole family, some were just Carl and I, some were of Dad and I, there were even pictures of Lori and I.

But the picture that made me get out of bed to get a closer look, was of the whole family and Shane surrounding me at what appears to be my highschool graduation. Dad's and Lori's arms were wrapped around my shoulders and they was smiling at me in a way that shows they're beyond proud of me. Carl was standing on a chair behind me putting two fingers behind my head like bunny ears. And Shane was standing off to the side awkwardly smiling.

Where am I?

Why do I have all these pictures? Wait, no. How do I have all these pictures? The world ended, and nothing shown in any of these pictures ever happened.

"Nora! Wake up! Mom said you have to bring me to school today!"

Carl?

What?

School?

What the hell is this boy talking about?

I didn't reply as I walked to the closet and got dressed in the first clothes I saw. After I was fully dressed, I made my way to the door of what appears to be my bedroom. Before I could open it though, Carl barged in and started yelling.

"Nora! Let's go! Mom wants us both to eat breakfast before we leave!"

I stared at Carl and tilted my head. This isn't the same Carl I last saw. No. This is Carl when I first met him. A little boy. And he has both of his eyes again, which he is currently using to stare back at me.

Wait... Did he just say Mom?

As in Lori? She's here?

I ran out of the room quickly and ran down the stairs on this two story house and ran right into the kitchen where all my movements were halted when I saw her. Lori was in the middle of the kitchen putting pancakes on plates.

"Mom?" She turned her head towards me, and slightly smiled. She's here. How is she here? How am I here? I ran up to her and crashed into her with a bone crushing hug. "I love you. I missed you so much."

"Well, I love you too, sweetheart." Lori said before pulling away from me.

"Bug?" I turned my head slightly when I heard my father's voice. He also looked different. His beard is gone and he looks so young. He also has his sheriff's uniform on. "Bug, are you okay?"

Sitting right next to my father is Shane, who I immediately glared at. I do not have any fond memories of that bastard. The last time I saw him He had tied me up to a tree and left me there to die.

"What the hell are you doing here?"  I asked Shane while snarling.

"Nora! Language!" Lori scolded me and I looked at her confused. "Apologize."
