The next morning we left early. Most of us were in the RV, while Dad, Michonne, Carl, Sophia, and Judith drove in a seperate car. My father wanted me to go with him, but after last night all I wanted was to be near my husband. I could also tell that Daryl didn't want to be separated from me either, although he'd never tell me that.
About halfway to this so called safe haven, our RV broke down. Almost everyone got out of the RV to spread their legs, and to figure out what the hell was going on, but Mr. Smiley's voice stopped me from walking through the RV door. "Nora?"
I shut the door to the RV and walked into the bedroom, where Aaron was sitting next to a sleeping Eric. I still have no idea if they are married or are just dating, but that honestly isn't my business. I leaned up against the doorframe as I looked at Mr. Smiley. "Yes? You wanted me?"
"I do." He stated. "I want to talk."
"About?"
"Back home... At Alexandria. We have a pretty skilled doctor, he'll be able check you and your baby. Make sure you're both doing okay." He informed me about the doctor and I crossed my arms. As of right now, I still don't trust this man. I probably won't believe him until I see this community for myself. He then looked at my arm that has the word 'Bitch' scarred across it. "We also have an artist. She also does tattoos. If you ever wanted to cover that up, I'm sure she'd be more than willing to help."
"Look, I meant what I said back at the barn. I don't think you're a bad person. But until I see this 'Apocalyptic Paradise', I'm not going to trust anything." I told him.
"Ahhh" Eric said while slowly starting to sit up. He must've woken up the second I got in the room. "So. This is her? The one who doesn't believe?" Aaron nodded. Of course he told his partner about me. I'm the only one here besides my father, who isn't believing any of the bullshit. I'm surprised they even got Daryl to believe that this place is real. Eric looked at me and smiled. "It's okay that you don't believe us right now. When we get there... You will." I nodded. That answer was acceptable. That's what I've been saying. I will not trust that this place is safe until I see it with my own eyes. "How far along are you?" Eric asked. "If you don't mind me asking."
"I don't mind." I said. "I don't really know. I found out about two months ago, but I had also been missing my period for a while. So I could be anywhere from two months to five.... I don't think I'm quite five months though, I think I'd be bigger than this."
Aaron chuckled. "Well, you haven't been eating much. So even if you are further along, you wouldn't be able to tell." I quirked my eyebrow in confusion. "The baby is going to be small if you're both malnourished."
"I guess that makes sense.." I looked up at the ceiling, thinking that I could possibly be more far along than I anticipated. I really hope I'm not that far along.
"Mae!" I heard my husband call for me.
"Well, looks like I'm being summoned to somewhere else." I stated before turning around and leaving the room. I walked into the main room of the RV to see my husband standing there. "Yes, Dare-Bear?"
"I told ya not to call me that." Yes, he did. And I told him I didn't give a fuck. I rolled my eyes at him. "Sit yer ass down, Glenn fixed the RV. We're 'bout to leave."
Glenn fixed the RV?
Luckily Dale had taught him how to do that.
I sat down, and we were on the move again. We were cramped in this RV, with 15 people in this small space. Some of the girls were sitting on their partners laps. I wasn't on Daryl's. I was awfully close to it though.
