The first thing I did when getting back inside Barrington House, was run to the bathroom to grab a washcloth. I ran it under some water and walked out of the room back to Gregory's office where all of us are waiting to meet with Jesus. I walked over to my father and threw the wash cloth at him so he could clean his blood stained face. "You have some of Nathan....." I trailed off while gesturing towards his whole face. "No, not some. You have a whole lot of Nathan on your face."

My father groaned and took the washcloth from my hand. "Thanks.." He mumbled as Jesus finally opened the door to Gregory's office.

Jesus walked over towards the horse painting that I stabbed with a pen earlier, and dug the pen out of it. I guess that was something that Gregory hadn't done yet. "Great aim.." Jesus commented as he looked in my direction.

"I'm aware." I smirked at him.

Jesus smiled back at me before addressing the whole group. "Dr. Carson was able to patch Gregory up. He's in pain, bt he'll live."

What a shame.

"So what happens now?" Michonne asked.

"Things like that usually don't happen here, but, uh, it's settled." Jesus explained.

"We heard the name Negan." My father said while standing up from his seated position on Gregory's desk. "A while back, Daryl and Abraham had a run in with his men. Who is he?"

"Negan's the head of a group of people he calls the Saviors." Jesus answered. "As soon as the walls were built, the Saviors showed up. They met with Gregory on behalf of their boss. They made a lot of demands, even more threats. And he killed one of us. Rory. He was sixteen years old. They beat him to death right in front of us. Said we needed to understand right off the bat."

Well that has me instantly worried about my children. Carl and Soph are almost sixteen, and if this Negan is willing to do something like that to a teen, then I know he would do the same to Seb who is only thirteen. I know Carl isn't my kid. But he is my brother, so he's still my problem.

"Gregory isn't great at confrontation." Jesus continued. "He's not the leader I would've chosen, but he helped make this place what it is, and the people like him."

"I can't imagine why." I mumbled making Glenn elbow me. "Ow.."

"He made the deal." Maggie commented, slightly asking even though we all know that Gregory made the deal.

"Half of everything."Jesus answered. "Our supplies, our crops, our livestock, it goes to the saviors."

"And what do you get in return?" Glenn asked.

"They don't attack this place." Jesus replied. "They don't kill us."

"Why not just kill them?" Daryl questioned. I'd like to know the answer to that as well.

"Most of the people here don't even know how to fight, even if we had ammo." I crossed my arms thinking about what I offered earlier. My offer to train these people how to fight still stands. I'm sure Rosita would help me as well.

"Well, how many people does Negan have?" Dad asked Jesus.

"We don't know." The long haired man answered my father. "We've seen groups as big as twenty."

"Now hold up." Daryl spoke up, interrupting Jesus. "So, they show up, kill a kid, and you give 'em half of everythin'?"

"That's bullshit." I agreed with Daryl while speaking to Jesus. "I would have ran into that compound and slaughtered them all." Jesus then looked at me with wide eyes, most likely not expecting those words to come out of my mouth.
