TW: Smut at the end! After Daryl killed the man my father promised could live, the three of us started driving to 'Gavin's Outpost', which is the chemical plant. Most of the people from the Kingdom went there, with the exception of a few who went with the Hilltop.
I originally was going to ride on Daryl's bike with him, but he asked me to ride with my father in his doorless jeep because it'll be safer if we run into trouble. I agreed and got in the vehicle with my father.
When we had arrived at the outpost though we didn't have time to investigate how things went for the Kingdom. There was a vehicle speeding past us with two Saviors in it. One of them was in the back of the truck unloading something, and we soon realized that it is one of the M2's we were searching for.
We started speeding after them. Daryl was in front of my father and I while shooting at the truck in front of us. That was until they started shooting at him. His bike ended up crashing on the side of the road.
"Daryl!" I screamed as we past him out of fear that he died. But then I saw him start to get up and was relieved enough to sit back down for now. I may be relieved that my husband is still breathing, but now I'm pissed right off. They tried to kill my husband. They failed, but they still tried.
Dad raced closer to them while swerving to try avoiding the bullets flying our way. I casually looked behind us when I heard the hum of an engine. Daryl was already on his bike again and speeding towards us.
That's my man. Nothing stops him.
There were a few geeks in the road that the Saviors tried to swerve away from. They ended up hitting a few which slowed them down for a few seconds. The man in the back kept shooting at my father and I, and one of his bullets ended up hitting the front end of our jeep, causing smoke to fly out.
Well that can't be a good thing. Smoke is rarely ever good thing. Unless you are actively trying to blow something up.
When Daryl got close enough to us again, my father swerved our jeep out of the line of fire. The mans focus was still on us since he wasn't aware of the very sexy redneck driving his motorcycle behind us. The second Dad and I were officially out of the way, Daryl started shooting at the man in the back of the truck again until he managed to kill him.
"Hey, Dad, get closer to them." I requested my father to get our jeep closer to the Saviors vehicle.
"Why?" Dad questioned me but didn't seem like he was fully against it. "What are you gonna do?"
"I'm about to wreck his damn day."
"Well, alright then." Dad smirked at me before getting us closer to the vehicle in front of us.
Once we were close enough I held onto Carl's hat on my head, not wanting to lose it, before I jumped into the bed of the Saviors truck. The man behind the wheel started jerking the wheel in an attempt to throw me off the truck, but he failed.
I gripped onto one of the metal frames as I slid myself into the passenger seat. I stared at the man for a moment before gripping onto one of my knives. "Hey." I told him. "You know, I've been trying to reach you all day about your cars extended warranty."
"The fuck?" I heard him mumble as he tried to reach for his gun.
I held my knife firmly in my hand as I smacked his gun away from him. I then stabbed him in the gut and twisted the knife before grabbing onto the steering wheel, so we don't crash. I could've just stabbed the man in the head, but I know my father is going to have some questions about what happened at the outpost. So for the next few minutes, we need this man alive.
