"Daryl?"
I Immediately jumped up into his arms, as he took the sack off my head. I was relieved that he was here. I'm glad he was able to save me again.
"Come on. We gotta go." He said sternly. I could hear the worry in his voice, but we could worry later. Now we need to blow this joint.
I nodded as he grabbed my arm, and started running out of the building with me. My father was also here, and he was covering Glenn and Maggie. I then saw a strange woman that I've never seen before, but clearly she's helping us so I'll ask questions later.
We made our way out of the building where Glenn, Maggie, and I had been held hostage. There were gunshots going off in every direction, and I felt extremely useless without a weapon. There was only one weapon I desperately needed, and it was taken away. I miss my Katana.
We all eventually slipped into another building. Daryl, then swept the building looking for another way out, but came back shaking his head. "Ain't no way back out here."
I turned to my father. "How did you find us?"
He either ignored my question or didn't hear it because he then asked Glenn. "How bad are you hurt?"
"I'm alright." Glenn replied.
I looked around and noticed someone who was just with us is missing. "Dad, where's that woman that was with you?"
"She was right behind us." He answered.
"Maybe she's spying." Oscar implied. I'm surprised they brought him to help rescue us instead of T. Well actually it does makes sense, plus I trust T to take care of the kids, way more that I trust Oscar or Axel. They're not bad people, they just haven't completely earned my trust yet.
"Do you want me to go look for her?" Daryl asked.
"No. We need to get out of here." I said to him. I am determined to get away from this hell hole. After what the Governor did to me, I never want to see him again. However if I do, I'll kill him.
"She's on her own." My father agreed with me.
"Daryl.." Glenn started. "This was Merle. He did this."
"Y'all saw him?" Daryl asked us.
"Face to face, He threw a walker at me. He held a knife to Nora's throat. He was going to execute us." Only two of the three things Glenn said were true. After talking to me, Merle wasn't going to execute us. "Rick, I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was. We couldn't hold out."
I'm sorry they did WHAT?
"No, no need to apologize. You did what you had to." My father reassured him.
"Whoa, you're just going to say that's okay?" Everyone now turned to me. "You don't know what he did to me! I still held out!" All of the faces around me were now filled with worry. "Whatever. We don't have time for this bullshit! We need to go. They'll be looking for us."
"We've got a car a few miles out. Can you walk?" My father asked Glenn.
"I'm good." Glenn replied.
"Hey, if Merle's alive, I need to see him." Daryl said.
"Not now." My fathers attention was now on Daryl. "We're in hostile territory."
"He's my brother, I ain't gonna-" Daryl started but my father quickly cut him off.
"Look what he did!" My father pointed to Glenn. "Look we gotta get out of here."
Daryl sighed. "Well, maybe I can talk to him and work somethin' out." I get where Daryl is coming from, if that were my family I'd stop at nothing to get to them, however we need to go.
