Chapter Seventy-Five

In my human form and clothed, I sighed. Rubbing the back of my neck as I walked into the cave that Azrael had found a couple of days ago. Elder SilverStar was already inside and tending to the fire.

He looked up at me as I entered. "The others not back from the hunt yet?" I shook my head, sitting across from him. "No, and there's no signs of anyone else around for miles."

Being one of the faster wolves in the group, I was sent to scout the surrounding to see if it was safe while the rest went on to hunt for dinner, seeing as we shouldn't relay on our rations.

Elder SilverStar scoffed, shaking his head before going back to tendering the fire. "Youngsters these days, back way in my day, it wouldn't take this long to caught a couple of deer."

"Well, back in your day, the forest was vast and there weren't a bunch of hunters and enemy packs around." I shrugged, noticed Elder SilverStar suppressing a grin. "I supposed you're right on that, Luna."

Just then, there were steps coming from the front of the cave. Turning our heads, we relaxed at the sight of the hunting party. A few carrying a corpse of a deer or boar.

"I see today's hunt was a success." I smiled, Azrael dropping the large boar she carrying off to the side and walked over to me, leaning down to kiss my forehead. "You can say that, my love. It's nice to see you again."

I laughed. "It's only been a few hours." She shrugged. "Felt much longer than that, my love."

After getting one more kiss from my mate, it didn't take long to cut up meat for tonights dinner before using the rest to make jerky seeing as we'll most likely stay here for a couple of more days before Azrael makes us continue on.

We're nowhere near the pack, we ran for miles these last few days and are probably really far away from it. But, then again, I don't know where we are. And judging on how Azrael has been acting, she doesn't know either.

Giving the last slice of deer meat to Roxie for it to be smoked, I set down my knife and took out my waterskin, pouring out water to clean my hands.

Using my shirt to dry them before bring my waterskin up to my ear and shaking it, hearing how empty it was. "I'll be back." Standing up, Roxie stopped to look up at me. "I have to refilled my waterskin."

"Be careful, alright?" Nodding, I left the cave and walked in the direction of the small stream close by. It was a good distance away from the cave but with one loud growl, the others could easily hear it and come running.

With the moon giving some light and my night vision, the snow crunching under my boots, it was ease to make my way over to the stream and crouched down. Opening my waterskin and refilling it. Keeping my eyes and ears open just in case.

After a moment, a twig snapped. Eyes wide, I snap my head to the left and relaxed at the sight of my mate. "Apologies if I startled you."

I shook my head, closing my almost filled waterskin and stood up with it in my hand. "It's fine, Az. At least it's you and not some hunter. Did you need something?"

Humming, Azrael came over and stood beside me, arms crossed while staring out into the darkness and trees. "How are you? This is the first time you had a journey such as this, correct?"

"Yeah. I'm a little cold and tired, but I was expecting that. It was storming when we left, and judging from the clouds in the distance, there's another one coming."

Tilting her head up, Azrael sighed after a minute and rubbed her face. "Was this a bad idea, Iris? Leaving during a storm?" I shrugged. "Maybe, but it's too late to start questioning it now. What's done is done."

"You're right, but still. We're lost in Goddess knows where and we have no information on what's going on with the pack." Taking a deep breath, Azrael sighed. Taking a seat on the ground. "I just want this war to be over with. I don't want to lose anyone more loved ones."

My eyes softened. "Az." I spoke in a comfortable voice, crouching down right beside her and setting my waterskin off to the side. Reaching over, I cupped her face and gently turned her to look at me. "I may not know what you have gone through during these last few years, but I do know that you are a strong woman who will not give up until you accomplish want you want. I am sorry for the ones you have lost."

Brushing her hair out of her face, I kissed the tip of her nose. "My big, strong, warrior. Or should I say princess?" I grinned, making Azrael chuckle, shaking her head. "If you were anyone else, I would have either given them a lecture or tear their head off."

"Then thank the Goddess I am your mate, your highness." Leaning over, I pressed a kiss on her lips. Azrael moaned, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me to her lap. Moving her another hand under my shirt. "Az." I moaned, pulling away.

She kissed my cheek before slowly moving down to my neck, leaving kisses in her wake. "I missed touching this gorgeous body of yours, my flower." Nipping on my mark, I threw my head back and moaned from the sparks that washed over my entire body. My toes curling up.

Holding back moan when Azrael bit down on it, I bit down my fist. Trying to keep quiet so the others won't hear us. "Az." I whispered, holding onto her shoulder.

"Shh, we don't want the others do hear us, do we?" Shaking my head, she smirked. "Good girl." I whined, shutting my eyes and hiding my face in her neck. "Don't be mean to me, Az."

Chuckling, she placed one more kiss on my neck before swiftly removed my pants and underwear. Quietly doing the same to her own.

Looking down at her hard member, I squeezed my legs together. Feeling how hot and wet it became just at the sight of it. Goddess it's been so long since we last done this. "I'll try to be gentle."

Looking back up at Azrael, I nodded. Lifting my hips, her hands holding them as she slowly guided me back down on her member.

Bitting down on my lip to not make a sound as I sunk all the way down. Azrael growled in my ear. "You're so tight. Fuck!" She whispered loudly, bitting down my shoulder, drawing blood.

Then without wasting a second, she thrust up. Moaning from the wave of pleasure, Azrael grinned, pulling away from my shoulder. "Yeah like that, huh?" She thrusted again, "My little mate missed my cock? You miss how it ruined you and made you lose the ability to walk?"

Eagerly nodding my head as she continued to thrust upward. Slowly becoming wild and rough, her nails digging into my hip. Drawing a trickle of blood. "Yeah, you did." Slamming into that one particular spot, blood slide down my chin by how hard I was bitting down on my lips.

Hot tears formed in my eyes and stream down my red, cold face. "Az." Grinning, she slammed against the spot again and again. Beating it into submission. My walls tightened around her. "Oh! That's it baby. Are you going to come? Come with me, Iris. Come with me, baby!"

Throwing my head back, moaning aloud for all the hear, I came. Azrael trusting for a moment longer before her sex twitched inside me. Azrael grunted, slammed me down to take every inch of her before the familiar warmness flooded my insides.

Panting, sweat rolling down my face, I resting my head on her shoulder. My mind too foggy to hear anything. Taking deep breaths to calm my racing heart, the fogginess slowly left after a few minutes before a wave of tiredness washed over.

Humming tiredly, I wrapped my arms around Azrael's neck. Burying my face in her neck. "You're always so mean to me whenever we have sex." Azrael chuckled, rubbing my back while her sex was still inside me. "I know you like it."

"That I do." I smiled, cuddling closer to her. "Want to have another round." Humming, I shook my head. "Maybe another time. I'm so tired. I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize, my love. It's alright." She kissed my sweaty and teary cheek. "Let's wait here for a while, we don't want the others to smell what we just-" Azrael paused, our heads snapped to the side where we just head snow crunch. Sniffing the air, I growled at the smell of silver. "Hunter."
