As the fire flickered and danced, casting a warm glow on our faces, I snuggled closer to Adam on his lap. We had been together for a while now, and I still couldn't believe how lucky I was to have someone like him by my side.

"Can you believe it, Ari? We actually did it. We beat Iceland," Adam said, his voice filled with pride.

I grinned up at him, "I know, it's amazing. I couldn't have done it without you, though."

Adam leaned down and kissed me gently, "I'm just glad I was able to help."

We all started singing 'We are the Champions', and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness. This was a moment I would never forget, surrounded by the people I loved, all celebrating our victory together.

As the song ended, Adam turned to me, "Hey, Ari, do you remember when we first met? It feels like so long ago now."

I smiled, "Of course I do. You were the new kid in school, and I thought you were so cute. But then you scored that winning goal in our first game together, and I was hooked."

Adam chuckled, "I remember thinking how lucky I was to have you on my team. And then when we started dating, I knew I was the luckiest guy in the world."

We shared another kiss, and I felt like nothing else in the world mattered. This was where I belonged, with Adam by my side.

The night continued on, filled with laughter and storytelling around the fire. I felt so grateful for the people in my life, for the love and support they gave me. And most of all, I felt grateful for Adam, the person who had stolen my heart and never let go.
