It was another day at the ice rink, and the Ducks were practicing for their next game. As usual, the team was divided into two sides, with Autumn Germaine and Fulton Reed on opposite teams. The two of them had never gotten along, and their disagreements often led to heated arguments.

"Hey, Germaine, get out of the way!" Fulton shouted as he tried to shoot the puck past her.

"Why don't you try passing it instead of hogging it all the time?" Autumn retorted, blocking his shot.

Their coach, Coach Bombay, had noticed their constant bickering and decided it was time to do something about it.

"Germaine, Reed, come over here," he called out. "We need to talk."

Autumn and Fulton reluctantly skated over to where Coach Bombay was standing.

"I've had enough of your constant fighting," Coach Bombay said sternly. "You two are on the same team, and I need you to start working together."

Autumn and Fulton exchanged glances, both thinking the same thing: easier said than done.

"I don't see how that's possible," Autumn said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, we don't exactly get along," Fulton added, shrugging.

"Well, it's time to change that," Coach Bombay said firmly. "Starting today, I want the two of you to work together. You're going to practice passing the puck back and forth until you get it right."

Autumn and Fulton looked at each other, both feeling a sense of dread. The thought of working together was unbearable.

But they had no choice. They had to listen to their coach.

They started practicing, passing the puck back and forth. At first, it was awkward and uncomfortable, but as they continued, they started to get into a rhythm. They were surprised at how well they worked together.

"Hey, that wasn't so bad," Autumn said, smiling.

"Yeah, maybe we're not so different after all," Fulton replied, grinning.

Their teammates were surprised to see the two of them working together so well. Even Coach Bombay was impressed.

"I knew you two had it in you," he said, nodding approvingly.

As the next game approached, Autumn and Fulton found themselves looking forward to playing together. They had put their differences aside and were focused on winning the game.

And win they did. In fact, they scored the game-winning goal together.

As they celebrated with their teammates, Autumn and Fulton couldn't help but smile at each other. They had gone from enemies to teammates, and it had made all the difference.

"Maybe we should try working together more often," Autumn said, nudging Fulton.

"Yeah, maybe we should," Fulton replied, smiling.

And with that, the two of them skated off the ice, feeling proud of what they had accomplished. They had proven that even the greatest enemies could become the best of teammates.
